How to obtain public IP from Time Warner
<p>There are two basic types of IP addresses of internet
service providers (ISPs) to provide customers with Internet services: a dynamic
address or DHCP and a static IP address. A static IP, as the name implies, uses
the exact same IP, and you're online all the time. The DHCP IP configuration
uses a "stack" of available IP addresses each time a modem is online
and an IP address of the network of the ISPs is simply grabs the first
