We have an att.net account and the page was green. Somehow we can't get our homepage to come up . It goes to yaoo.com but that is not whaat we want. Can you help

AT&T is in partnership with yahoo so that's why you're getting a yahoo page. But if there's another site that you used to have as a homepage, just go to the address of the website that you want (say, for exampl, http://www.att.com/accounts/) then set it as your homepage:

For internet explorer, go to tools, then internet options, then click on use current, then click on apply and ok.

For mozilla firefox, go to tools, options, general tab, click on use current pages, then click on okay.

Let me know if you're using any other browser.

I'm trying to g wireless and when I unplug the ethernet wire I get a message " local cord disconnected" and on the wireless connection it day's "limited or no Internet use"

you need to first reset the box by unplugging power cord. It should power up with your regular settings. If not, then hit the reset button in the very back with a paper clip end.
Next step is launch your AT&T Self support using att.net and your ID/PW this will look at your router for you. YOu will need the two sets of codes on the underside of the gateway/router box.
IF still no action, use the ATT.COM/.NET chat line. its very good and they can self test for you. Calling the help line is not very helpful, use chat.

I cannot set up Outlook with my Att.net settings. I copied the same settings as my wife's and hers works. Please help

I am really sorry to hear that, if you have done all the steps, then I would highly suggest to contact AT&T because they have a system that will just activate your outlook on their end, I believe they will just unblock something on their system then you are good to go.

Here's the contact number for AT&T phone support.

I need to sign to att.net and is going to att.my yahoo.net

Hi,

ATT and Yahoo are in partnership. As you have ATT internet connection, your email id ( mail box ) is maintained by Yahoo.

Click on the article below to know more about ATT & Yahoo

There is no harm in logging the way it is shows and your email will still be [email protected]

Just received new Att email account with U-verse signup. Trying to set up email thru Outlook 2000. Need to know the ''Incoming mai (POP3)'' name and ''Outgoing mail (SMTP)'' name. Please assist. Email...

If you looking for POP3 SMTP Mail Servers then it would be
AT&T WorldNet incoming mail server: postoffice.worldnet.att.net
AT&T WorldNet outgoing mail server: mailhost.worldnet.att.net
or
incoming mail (POP3) -> ipostoffice.worldnet.att.net

Just for POP, I think should be somethinnd like
[email protected]
or
pop.att.yahoo.com

Incoming Mail Server (POP3):
Host Name: ipostoffice.worldnet.att.net:995
User Name: [email protected]

Good luck
