It is at its main power supply regulator board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit; before replacing a fuse; if found blown out. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

SOURCE: Sanyo mod dp19241-no pic 'Digital channel

Hello
As the set reports, the strength of the digital signal it gets may be weak. An other possibility is the fault with its digital tuner itself. Check the digital signas strength first. You can contact your cable provider, and ask them to check the signal strength at your premises's cable end. If it found satisfactory, there is no other way than replacing the digital tuner of your TV.
It is a skilled work, and should be done either by any expereinced serivce technician or by the authorised service center for Sanyo at your town. OK.

SOURCE: Circuit breaker blew and now tv won't come on

ISSUES:

1. IF sound main fuse/s are good.
2. If no power or standby check main fuse, standby power supply and any signsof damage you can see---burnt parts etc.
3. almost all these sets the troubleshooting involves checking voltages on the main power board to narrow down theproblem.
4. Be safe and if you do not know what you are doing don't open the set.

Answers to issues:

1. RE:fuses---if a blown fuse is found get a good replacement(not the genericones like Radio Shack). Many fuses are special even aside from amperage--Don'tput a higher rated amperage fuse in the set for any reason.

2. RE: power supply in set: if total dead aside from main fuse the set uses astandby power supply that runs 7/24 and a main supply (some are combined andsome not.

Here aside from checking fuses you want to examine all the filter caps on thepower/standby to see if any are puffed up or buldged up in some fashion--Iattach a photo of a good one---top should be silver metal and PERFECTLY flatand have no brown material coming out on top or bottom.

What happens in the standby area is they use caps with too low a voltage rating(saves money) which causes them to fail in a year or two---the standby runs7/24 and the heat dries out the caps and they fail.

3. Trouble shooting consists of the above and then at some point you have tobuy and try a board to see if it fixes it or not.

4. Safety first--no TV set is worth getting injured or even killed over.4_2_2012_4_01_37_pm.jpg

I am replacing the thermostat with the Ecobee3 lite smart thermostat. The thermostat did not power up. My A/C unit is a Carrier model 40AQ030300BB. Might I have popped a fuse or something?

yes you likely blew the fuse. it is likely a blade style/ similar to one in a car, located on a circuit board inside the blower compartment. BE SURE TO TURN POWER OFF AND LOCATE AND REPLACE WITH SAME THING!!

My jmc7000 jenn-air blew a circuit breaker. No power to the unit. There is power to the recepticle. I'm wondering if it blew a circuit breaker, does that mean the problem is most likely a big problem...

Yau say a few conflicting things. First you wonder if it blew a breaker, and then say you have power to the receptacle. If you have poer to your receptacle your breaker if not tripped. There are NO breakers Inside of the Microwave. Only 1 time fuses. So, if your init is dead it has probably blown a fuse inside of the unit. If that is the case. Probably shorted HIgh volt capacitor would be my first guess. If it is jsut dead. it can be other things than just a blown fuse. bad thermal protectors, bad low voltage transformer on main circuit board. Burnt wires. Anything that will cause it to lose power inside the unit. From bad parts to bad connections.

If it was a large bang and flash of light as you described this would have been a short circuit, and this is why the circuit breaker tripped. A fuse wouldn't make as much noise and if the fuse blew the breaker wouldn't normally trip. Looking at the picture of the range it looks like the heating elements are under the glass top. This will have to be dismantled and if the short circuit isn't obvious, the elements will have to be tested to find the faulty one.

Bulb blew on cooker hood and I replaced both. Light still won't work and neither will fan - both working fine until bulb blew.

hello. I can assist you. begin by going to the electrical panel for your home. You will be looking for the circuit breaker or fuse that controls this hood. Chances are the actual problem is that the fuse blew, or the circuit breaker kicked off. To reset, replace the fuse with a new one of the same amperage, or turn the breaker on and then off and then back on again.

13500 unit will not come on year 2000

Assuming you have central air (controlled by a wall thermostat), chances are the control unit in the A/C was hit by the thunderstorm. These are fairly common to be ruined by power fluctuations and bad weather as is the control unit in the refrigerator. The controls unit "runs" both the cooling and heating. If you ever notice right before your furnace turns on, there is a clicking noise in the A/C. Thats the control unit. It tells what "system" to turn on They are not cheap. They are about $150-200. The best thing you can do is unplug your unit when not in use. I have replaced TONS of control boards, etc. because people leave their unit plugged in and they have been hit by bad weather. Good luck and happy camping.

Carrier air conditioner

Sounds like you either blew a transformer, have a bad circuit breaker or blew the main fuse in the outside disconnect. If the indoor unit is still blowing air (no matter what temperature) start looking at the power supply to the outdoor unit. From the circuit breaker, the power will go to a small box located within a few feet from the outside unit. This box will have either a lever on the side or you will be able to open the box and pull out the fuses. From this box the power goes to the condensor. The first thing you should do is to turn off the breaker to the outside unit. Flip it back on and if you have a call for cooling, after about 3 minutes the outdoor unit should start. If it does not, shut off power again to the unit by switching off the breaker, go outside and pull out the fuses in the disconnect box. Using a multi meter, check for continuity thru the fuses. If you have continuity, call your technician. If one or both fuses show no sign of continuity, replace the fuse(s). Make sure that the thermostat is working and sending a signal to the indoor air handler. You may be able to check this by turning the fan switch to "Fan" and see if the blower turns on. You may just have a bad thermostst. Caution should be used anytime you are near electrical components. If you do not have the skill-set required to test electrical equipment, leave it to a proffessional.
