I've recorded videos on this before, but now when I play a video back while it's still on the camera, I can't get or hear the sound, even if I turn the volume the whole way up. In the past it worked and it worked when I transported it onto my computer, but I don't know if I bumped a button or something that muted it. What should I do?
Also, I want to play MP3s on my Samsung i85, and I can't figure out how to configure it to do so. On my memory card, there are no MP3 folders or anything. My memory card messed up once, though, and I had to format it. I think before the formatting, the MP3 folder was there, but now it's not. How do I fix this too?
No, it's on the camera, not on the computer. I haven't imported the ones yet that don't have sound on the computer. Also, I've had to install all of these weird drivers on my Mac to play the .AVI files that it's recording in -- can I change the format of my video on the camera?

I'm sorry to know that the videos are playing back with low volume. I'll be glad to assist you with this. Make sure that the Camcorder is used with a fully charged battery. Increase the volume of the Camcorder using the Volume + - buttons and check if it increase or decrease. You can also try connecting the Camcorder to the Computer or to the TV and check if the transferred videos are playing with normal volume. There are no settings to be done in the Camcorder to increase the recording volume level. You can also backup the files, format the memory and capture a sample video recording and check if it helps. This should resolve the issue.
I understand that you're not getting sound on the recorded videos when playing it in the Camera itself. Unfortunately, due to the bad design, the Camera does not have a built in speaker to generate sound when playing videos in it. It is required to connect the Camera to a TV or transfer the recorded videos to Computer to hear the audio on the videos.
This is a common issue with DSC S Series Sony Cameras.
Thanks for understanding. Please let me know if you require any clarifications.

Unfortunately there isn't much you can do. The ViviCam 8025 does not record any sound to go with its videos. You can add a soundtrack using video-editing software on a computer, but you cannot record one on the camera.
I know this wasn't the answer you wanted to see, but there it is.
This is a really simple problem and easy to solve. Unfortunately the videos you've recorded cannot be changed back because they have been recorded in Time Lapse mode.
With the camera switched on in Video Mode turn the control dial on the back (this is the dial to the right of the LCD screen). This will change the settings from TIME LAPSE to STANDARD. There are actually 6 different modes but the best one for normal videos is STANDARD. There is a HIGH RESOLUTION setting, however these record fewer frames per second (fps) so whilst the quality is better per frame, there are half the amount of fps so the the movie will look at bit jerky.
It's really easy to accidentally twist the dial when holding the camera, so always check the icon in the top right of the LCD before recording to make sure its just a yellow camera in a yellow square.
This should be problem solved for all future recording.
