Go to http://shop.giantintl.com/Manuals.asp?offset=30 and choose your model from the pulldown menu. It will take you to the pdf of the manual.

As for your intermittent problem, you might check your battery, or battery connections. Clean with a pencil eraser if needed.

I can transmit but not receive a reply

Check to see your interference eliminator code and Qt filter (if any) are set identical among your radios. For basic operation, set these to off (zero).

Motorola T5420 won't transmit to each other.

Since you say the frequency is set the same, you possibly have the code set differently. Check your interference eliminator code. It must be set the same on all radios. For basic operation turn the code off (zero).

Lost tranmission capabilities on one of the units, is there a way to reset. Last night it worked fine, turned of at night, tried to use this morning - no output!!! Any suggestions? Model T5420

The only way to really reset this is to remove the power/battery for 8 hours, press power button for 3 seconds, then wait 1/2 hour. Then try it again.

No transmition

You can find the manual here http://www.giantintl.com/motorolafrsold.htm by using the menu to select your radio model.

You most likely will need to program your radios to match one another. Pay special attention to the interference eliminator code and the the Qt filter (if any). Both radios must match perfectly to communicate.

Unable to download manual for motorola t5420

On the bar just below the web address there is an icon of a floppy disk that says "Save a Copy" next to it. Click on that. A window will open and you can direct it to your Documents , Desktop, or other folder.

Motorola T5420

You possibly have the "code" set differently on one unit. Check your programming, including the Qt filter, if any. Here is a link to the user manual: http://www.giantintl.com/RadioPDFs/Outdated%20Manuals/T5320_T5410_T5420_User_Manual_E.pdf

Can't make the T5420 operate without the beeps!

I have not looked up the T5420 user guide, however, on most Motorola TalkAbouts you hold in the minus (-) button while turning the radio on. Post back if this doesn't work, and we'll find the manual for you.
