LG KC910 When i've sent a text, the phone plays an annoying tune but can't disable it, any help is appreciated, thanks

This problem can be a bit annoying. After deleting a contact in my LG840g a long time ago, the number would still be there as an option when I send text messages. However, after much research it is no longer there, so I'm happy.

What I did after viewing a suggestion from another reviewer for another LG model is basically sent blank text messages to as many inessential numbers in my phone as I could at one time (5 is the max on my LG840g). I sent texts to AT&T, Bud's Gun Shop, Ace Elite Card, the college that I attend, and a local checking cashing place 7 times until it eventually cleared that annoying number from my phone. This has worked for me.

Note that the inessential numbers you send texts to will take the place of that annoying number, so if that is OK, then make sure that the annoying number is deleted from your contact list first, and try it.

Try takeing the card out and earasing what is on it on the computer.

I am not able to Send SMS text messages via Mci iran. I am using LG KC910 model. There is lot of memory free in handset.

I was faced the problem before, after i tried the Reset Settings, the problem solve. You can try to go Phone Settings -> Reset Settings.

1. From main screen tap the messaging icon at the bottom of the
screen. LG-Renoir info
2. Scroll the screen up and tap Messaging settings.
3. Tap Multimedia Message
4. Scroll down and tap multi msg centre
5. Tap the bottom left icon and tap Add New
6. At Title tap and enter TMobile
7. for MMSC URL enter http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
8. than save and activate the profile.. I think this should work. I just did it to mine cause I was having same problem it is now saying its sending so we shall see what happens lol

Hi to send and recive picture texts you will need to contact your network service provider and get them to send the MMS settings and GPRS settings to your handset, without these settings saved to your phone you will not be able to recive the picture texts, hope this helps.

you'll probably also find that your phone can't take close up shots either. too bad. only way to fix this is by taking this back, and ask for your sony ericsson back :)

it might be the ring tone you have, i had the same problem but when changed the ring tone to a music tune i had downloading or bluetoothed it was very loud

When sending text messages on the samsung soul u900 there is a tone sounds for every message sent, can this be disabled and is so how do you disable it, its so annoying!!!

Is this a tone that is played when the screen says 'message sent'?
If so try editing your profiles. In the menu for every profile (with the exception of silent i think) there is an option for phone sound volume. Try putting that to zero......

If its the one that plays becuase you ask for a delivery report of a sent message then you cant silence that without silencing all text messages.
