The settings on my camera screen are all mixed up; malfunctioning

Someone tried to correct the blurry  pics I've been  getting and consequently screwed up all the settings. The screen is almost pure white  now and  the "mountain peaks" are flashing like crazy.  What settings are needed for normal no-frills picture taking?

Your best bet is to try and find a way to reset your camera to factory default settings. (check the owner's manual)

I did a bit of searching, but the directions are very specific to camera model, and I couldn't find the exact directions for your model camera...

I have the same problem and I strong suspect the circuit board is going bad. No matter what lens I use, distance from subject, etc. makes any difference. Unfortunately, the fix is about $200.00 - and having to invest $200.00 per year to keep it going is not a viable option for anyone.

How to get rid of bluury pics

You need to configure the setting of the pictures, by removing it from blur to either sharp, soft or something else, click on the menu button of your camera to start the settings. The problem is as result of the settings you give your camera.

Shutter too slow and pics of people blurry. I have the camera on auto setting, push button half way down, focus, then all the way, take the pic. If the subject is moving AT ALL, the pic comes out blurry....

If your camera has a sport or action mode that would be your best option if your pics keep coming out blurry. These modes are made for action shots. Its worth a try!

Blurry pictures, HELP ME PLEASE!

I'm currently having the same problem. :[

You might want to check and make sure your lens in on the "A" setting and not "M". This can be found on the side of your lens.

Blurry pics Samsung S860

Try it with DIS function on.
You take a shot, in average daylight conditions in 11 modes, See which settings give good pictures and use those settings.
Probably the best setting for the digital camera is AUTO(green),for a novice

I have a Casio EX 260, not the EX-S600

Try resetting camera. If that doesn't work more than likely there is a lens error. 800-706-2534 and keep choosing option 2 and they will tell you where to send it.

Blurry pics

Sounds like the auto focus mechanism in the camera needs to be cleaned and adjusted. The camera can be repaired yourself but it takes a great deal of mechanical know how and knowledge. Several links have already been posted on this issue.

I recommend you take the camera to a repair shop and have it done correctly.

Ritz LIED. What u can try doing is resetting the camera.

Press menu
go to setup tab
go up one to reset
press right arrow, highlight reset
press set button in middle of arrows.

Also make sure you are only pressing shutter button half way down and allow time to focus before pressing rest of way down. Can also try changing focus mode from spot to multi. I believe that is under the rec tab in the menu. I think it is called AF AREA. Can't remember for sure.

Try that. If it doesn't work then you will have to send it into casio.
