SOURCE: need wiring diagram for older (DB1210) AM/FM/CD

Rick, your best solution may be to open the stereo up. In some late model stereos the board is labeled. For example you may see +B, for +12 volt, ign for ignition, gd for ground, etc., I will try to find more information for you but try the above and see if it helps. Thanks.

How to remove turn signal wire harness

New set will have a plug on it so don't be concerned about just cutting the plug off to get the old harness out. You have to remove the steering wheel and anything above the turn signal switch to give access to the little pivot bolt the switch is mounted by. Remove this pivot screw/bolt and pull the unit out. After the plug has been cut off the end of the signal harness, the wires will come out easily. Put all that aside, grab your new turn signal unit, Turn the plug on it's side, flat on the wires, and feed it down thru the column housing until the new switch is in position to bolt back on. Now put it back together in reverse of removal.

Pontiac grand am wiring diagram

You will need the wire harness that is designed to connect to the stock stereo. Another option is to just install your alpine stereo in the car since you have the wiring harness for that. You will not be able to wire the harness for the alpine unit and have it match the plug type for your stock stereo.

I need please the electrical functions of each cloured wire form the back of the unit

If you are installing a radio, I recommend you get a wiring harness. All aftermarket radios use a standardized color scheme for the wires. If you purchase a wiring harness, you attache the radio to the harness, then plug the harness into the stock vehicle harness. You can find one a www.crutchfield.com

I need to know witch wires go into witch hole on a vrcd400-sdu head unit there is 16 holes total on the back of the wiring harness

you don't stick wires in the holes. they make a male harness for the female harness you're messing with. your radio should have a harness that plugs into it with wires connected to it. then you buy the install harness for your year, make, and model car along with a dash kit if needed. then you proceed to connect the color coded wires from the head unit harness to the install harness you bought WITH CRIMP CONNECTORS. not packing tape or shrink wrap or any other thing you can think of to insulate the bare wires. crimp caps or **** connectors with electrical tape works fine.

None of the speakers will work different

best bet is to wire back up the factory wiring harness end then go to walmart or to autozone and buy a 10 dollar wiring harness. It is specific for the vehicle. It will plug into your wiring harness then matches color to color with the back of an aftermarket harness. Trying to match everything up is a gamble and it takes 20 times longer. There's no thinking to the other harness.

VR3 cd 400 where to get wiring plug to go in back of player

Do you need a wiring harness for the back of the unit? All you have to do is google "wiring harness for vr3 cd400 and you will have allot of options to choose from. If you connected the red which is 12v +, yellow connects to 12v for radio memory, and black goes to ground. Brown is for external amp turn on. Check to make sure your connections are correct. Do you have an adapter harness that plugs into the factory radio harness? You can get one from Wal-Mart or best buy or online. So you don't have to cut/splice into the wiring harness coming from the stock radio.
