It is similar to my rear wheel drive two door.

The main vacuum line from a vacuum source on the intake goes to the multi-hose valve on the top and the distributor vacuum advance. This multi-valve switching valve is the main connection to the other vacuum hoses on mine. Two lines come in from a vacuum source and thre go out to three components according to tempature. On mine the middle one off to side 1)goes to choke opener and switching vacumm valves mounted on the fenders the other middle one 2)second from top goes to another choke opener and EGR Valve and EGRModulator. The bottom hose connection is on when cold 3)and goes to a part on the carburator to help it run better when warming up a AAP valve.

There is a check valve diaprham thing inline to the EGR vlave on the second line from top.

I have another vacuum line on the drivers side of the carburator that has a check vlave inline but larger it goes to the throttle linkage to help slow the closing of the trottle on rapid deceleration.vacuum line schematic 1987 toyota corolla le front - 126c338.jpg9f023f4.jpga890bd7.jpg5531e92.jpg

4A. Where can I get a vacuum line routing diagram?

there you go. hope it helps with your issues. Toyota used the same engine in cars and trucks so it is the same diagram for both.

Does a 2003 toyota corolla has ABS on front and rear or none?

ABS was optional on S and LE models. Don't know if it is 4 wheel or not. You could count the lines coming out of the ABS pump if the car has one.

Where is the brake booster vacuum line on the 89 toyota camry?

Booster line will attach to back side (firewall side ) of booster chamber.

Should find a metal elbow coming out of the booster chamber that the vacuum line will slip over.

When you look at the booster chamber from the front, the location of the line should be at approx. 9 o'clock (as if looking at a clock dial)

We replaced pads& callipers, bleed lines/ brake peddle goes to floor.brakes work but peddle still goes to floor.help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check the vacuum hose going to the brake booster mounted on the firewall in front of the driver in the engine compartment. If that is intact and connected with no holes then the problem is the Master Cylinder.

I have a 1987 jeep wrangler and it will not shift into 4 wheel dr

The front axle connects 4wd by vacuum. check the vacuum hoses that run to the actuator. Pay close attention to the vacuum hoses running underneath the battery as battery acid can eat thru those hose easily. Good Luck.

I just put in a new carburetor in my 87 corolla sr5 and it has cold start problems and the idle wont stay at a set rpm all the time

You probably have vacuum leaks somewhere. Be sure your base gasket is tight, and all your hoses are tight and not cracked. Use a length of fuel hose held to your ear with the engine running, and listen for a hissing.

Steering wheel of my Toyota Corolla LE 2007 vivrates

Hello. A vibration in the steerign wheel indicates an issue with the front tires. They are either out of balance, and would need to be rebalanced, or it is possible (although remotely) that the tire(s) may be compromised (after hitting a pothole), the belts in the tire may be corrupted. What I would suggest is to take the car to a reputable tire place, and get the balance checked. While the tire is on the balancer, the Tech will be able to see if the tire is out-of-round due to possible road damage. Probably just a tire balance problem. Thanks for choosing FixYA for assistance.
