You can connect them using a x-over cable to an unused port. the switch should detect the other switch and trunk it automatically. (don't connect more than 1 or you will get a switching loop and possibly a broadcast storm... which is bad)
Replaced the DVD? Did you replace the mechanism, or the entire media center?
If you replaced the dvd mechanism, you might be out of luck getting firmware to support the rest of the hardware.
If you mean that you replaced the media center, the firmware is available as part of a normal software update disc through Bose. To check sw and fw-> when the system is off, press and hold 'enter' on the media center and tap the 'store' button until you see "console sw" on the display. Same with fw.
I'm sorry, but I have no clue what a 'cruiser box' is, but I'm going to guess it's a brand of computer.

C1B is ancient UNIStim firmware. You cannot downgrade to it. Try converting to a more recent UNIStim version. You can download firmware from www.nortel.com/support.
Hi from the command line interface you will need to login and then type enable (enter) configure (enter), interface fast ethernet all (enter), no shutdown port (port #).
