Xbox does not read disk
If your xbox says (unplayable disc) and no disc plays including dvd, mp3, etc. then you do have a fatal hardware flaw in the disc drive. This should be covered under the new 3 year extended warranty. This problem is rumored to be caused by two things,1 cheap disc drives, 2 live update which was trying to ban modded 360s for xbox live friendly fired on alot of innocent disc drives with bad firmware.....but this should be covered, give em a call
I had the same problem, i tried the microsoft help desk but they hung up on me!!!!! so i took it back to the store i bought it from 7 months ago, and they changed it, it is a common fault. although microsoft deny it. i had the whole unit inc hard drive changed, (one refuses to read the other apparently)good luck, and be persistant!!!!you do have a box with a common fault.

just the same here my 360 wont read disks, its secondhand so no refund or exchange is avalible.
any other way i could manually fix this problem??
