My lg shine cu720 can not download altell picture messages. It says failed to retrieve message 6.

The LG Shine will only save messages to the SIM card after the internal phone memory is full (150 messages). This all happens automatically, and as far as I can tell, there is no way to force the phone to choose. Also, note that the SIM card will only store 30 messages. You can select the options menu

you have to change the message tone not the ringtone for incoming calls. there should be a list of ten to chose from. you wont be able to download a new one.

Go to support.
Go to services and data
Go to device setup tools
Go to Begin to use the T-mobile wireless configurator

send yourself the settings for the Nokia 2610.
Use the settings for T-zones and MMS.
When it comes in it will read "New sim 1 settings recieved"
The pin is the last 4 digits of your phone number
Click install
Click install again
Choose a profile other than a t-mobile profile
Click install
Click install
Test

You cannot use personal tones for Message alerts and to keep your texts, copy them to the SIM card.

sounds like your settings need to be put in again manually to do that you need to contact ur cell provider whos your provider? if 02 i can give you settings

u prolly dont have the service try to turn ur phone off and remove the battery for 15 seconds it'll update ur phone
