Escali scale wont turn on

First be sure that you are bare foot when using the scale. If you are not making contact with the metal sensors on the scale's platform the scale will read Err 2. The way the scale is able to measure your body fat and body water % is by sending a small, unnoticeable electronic signal through your body. Also, be sure the scale is on a flat, stable, hard surface while in use.

SOURCE: How do I remove old batteries from Escali BFBW200 scales. The batteries are hard to remove.

Use a pen to push the batteries down towards the flexible metal contact tabs and continue to push the pen underneath the batteries. The batteries should pop out.
