Motorola ME-4052 As we turn on the Motorola ME4052, on display a message '' EEP FAILS '' appears and which can not be cleared. How can we reset it.

If the system fails to turn on or activate, the StabiliTrak light along with one of the following messages will be displayed on the Driver Information Center (DIC): TRACTION CONTROL OFF, SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL, STABILITRAK OFF, SERVICE STABILITRAK. If these DIC messages appear, make sure the StabiliTrak system has not been turned off using the StabiliTrak on/off button. Then turn the steering wheel clockwise from the nine o'clock position to the three o'clock position. If this clears the message(s), the vehicle does not need servicing. If this does not clear the message(s), then turn the vehicle off, wait 15 seconds, and then turn it back on again to reset the system. If any of these messages still appear on the DIC, the vehicle should be taken in for service.

Hello,
The message "error eep" is display on the main unit. I checked and changed the all the batteries, I pressed the reset button both on the main unit and on the outdoor unit and this message is still displayed.

Please use this first!
resetting your scanner
1. Turn off your scanner, and then turn it on again.

2. Insert a pointed object into the reset hole on the back
of the scanner. Then, gently press and release the reset
button. Pressing reset does not clear the scanner's
working memory or the V-Scanner folders.

If this doesn't work here's step two! CAUTION. THIS WILL ERASE EVERYTHING, but it MAY Fix the Problem!!

Initializing your scanner clears all information stored in your
scanner's working memory. Initialize your scanner only when
you are sure it is not working properly. V-Scanner memory is
not affected when you initialize the scanner.

1. Turn off the scanner, and turn it on again. First, the DSP
boot version, and then Welcome To Digital Trunking appears.

2. Press 0. The following messages appear on the display:

System Tests

Select Test
Exits if no
Key Press

3. Press 1. The following messages appear on the display:

Factory Init
Erase Memory
ENTER if Yes
CL to EXIT

4. Press ENT. The following messages appear on the display:

Initializing
Clr Main Mem
V-Scan is OK
Please Wait

5. Do not turn off your scanner until the initialization is
complete. When the initialization is complete, M000 and
Bank 0 Ch 00 appear on the display.

Seems like a reminder setting, I would check your missed call, or message reminder settings to see what they are set to.
If all else fails a master reset should clear this.

when u set master reset/clear,change the flex or whatever was changed in the software in P2K motorola phones in the 90% of all cases the java applications/games are gone!when nothing appears to be in the Java folder the message "no installed MIDlet suites"
appears.Simply add some application restart /the turn off/on the phone and... u have the game u've just installed and no installed MIDlet suites" mesage appears

Look in the motorola tutorial for 'how to: install java app loader.' Once you have enable java app (if not already enable in your phone), you have to convert the games from jar to jad file. Try using jadmaker. Do a google search. It is a freeware.
