Warrenty i would like 2 no how i find out how long my warrenty for my xbox elite lasts

Log into the xbox.com site and register your xbox for a replacement, after entering your serial number on your xbox you can check if the xbox is really out of warrenty, because of the regular accurance of Red Rings of Death Microsoft has extended warrenty on xbox's that fail because of this

if your xbox is even out of the RROD extended warrenty
the only things you can do is buy a new one or do the towel trick

please check your extended warrenty before attempting the towel trick as it will void your warrenty

the towel trick overheats your motherboard so the thermal paste melts back onto the motherboard, please note this is a completely temporary trick to get your xbox working again

to do the towel trick, unplug everything from your xbox (hdd, Video cables) just have the power cable plugged in, wrap your xbox in 3 or 4 towels and turn it on, either by pushing through the towels or by using your controller, leave the xbox on for 5-10 mins

unwrap your xbox and turn it off
leave the xbox off with everything unplugged for 2-3 hours if not longer (the longer the better, you want to make sure your xbox has completely cooled down) then after it cooling down completely (remember, 2-3 hours minimum) turn your xbox on and it should work, it may experience a fault or two, but a couple of resets generally fixes this, remember this is temporary, might get another month or so out of your xbox

the best thing i can say is if ur xbox is not under warrenty nomore then just open it and then open the dvd drive and close the disc tray it shound close easily and go back in place

its dead call microsoft at 1-800-4my-xbox if your warrenty is up pay for its fix or fix it your self its simple but it can take time and not 100% gureted fix if you send it in they might send you a new one back depending on the condition

Ive herd of this silly thing to try.. to fix red lights sounds stupid but ive looked into it, Basicly you xbox gets so bloody hot it resets itself lol...
So get 4 towels and wrap you xbox 360 in them until ti overheats then leave it for 30 mins then turn it on... And if it works please send me a message!!

if u have the warrenty just search HOW TO CLEAN XBOX 360 LENS.

2 reasons

1 theres a power problem check the power unit to see if its still working properly ie on some1 elses. if this is the problem u can buy another power unit.

2 theres a major problem with the xbox.

either take it back to shop if its in warrenty.

or contact microsoft and they will fix the problem for you.

i must add that if its an old xbox they might not repair it because its out of warrenty

last idea is to find a computer shop which repairs xbox and they should be able to do for you but it will cost. and sry i dont know how much.

Hi i on u r screen white dotted vertical lines comming & if the no. is more than 6 the if the laptop is under warrenty then company will replace the LCD & if not under warrenty then to fix this issue u have to replace the LCD.

take the xbox apart as much as you can then open up the xbox this will void your warrenty if you still have one then then undo the screws that allow to take the top case off and check the wire hasnt come loose or been burn in anyway if so replace it with another fan unit thyen put the consloe back together

that the red ring of death go to the xbox page and check if it is still in warrenty if so you should send it in and they will fix it and give you a free month of live

send back to MS, this will just get worse and then show ring of death.... send it back now while in warrenty.
