It is going to be hard to replace the exact graphics card due to its age. Your best bet is to replace it with another graphics card that is compatible with your motherboard. The good news is many cards should be compatible with your board since there are very few connection types available.
Post which motherboard you have or simply do a search for what type of graphics card type/connection it accepts. I believe it will be a PCI or PCI Express type card. To make it easiest on yourself make sure the new card you buy has the type of monitor cables you would like to use.
There are really only 3 types it could use and most likely it will use a VGA (blue smallish cable that only accepts pins) and/or DVI (White longer connection with a square and pins).

You will have to go to the manufacturer's site and download the latest drover for your laptop. 2. go to the "control panel" and click the "device manager" select the device such as the "sound and game devices" on the list (right click) go to the properies and select update drivers. this will stat the process for updating your sound card drivers. if you get an error message that say sound card cannot be found <<< example. 3. Then you will need a new mother board to be installed. the sound card is integrated with the motherboard. 4. You can purchase a USB sound card if you do not want get another mother board.
the new public beta Vista 64 drivers with my Delta 1010LT card and after a few "issues" all is up and running great. My only glitches were that my VSTi with my orchestra samples was not visible in the VST folder until I disabled "user permissions" in Vista. Now it's all working great.
1. Download this driver.
2. Go to the Control Panel, Programs and uninstall the current nvidia driver.
3. Shut down computer.
4. Remove video card and re-install it.
5. Start computer and install new nvidia driver.
Here is the lenovo site for the drivers for you pc. Only download and install the xp driver versions...after which you should be able to update the drivers for the devices that have the yellow color and should not have any problems installing.
You can also check the windows update site...do a custom update and search for drivers...sometimes new driver versions can be downloaded that way.
