My dvd combi is saying invalid disc and sounds like its spinning but then makes a clicking noise

Make sure the disk you put in the player is compatible with what is in the manual. Don't try to use disks you burned yourself when the manual does not say it is compatible with CD R or DVD R + or -
And when it is compatible with CD / DVD R, put the files on the disk in a format the player can read. Don't try to play MP4 disks, because almost no MP4 format is compatible with w DVD player.

How do I downloald songs on my new MP3

If you are downloading songs onto your player from Cd's that you have, you will first need to copy the music from your Cd's into a folder. Put all of your songs into your My Music folder. With some players, you can simply navigate to where your music is, right click on the file, select Copy, then navigate to where your player is and select paste.

Your player should be hooked up to your computer via your usb cord, which should have come with your player. If you are not sure where your mp3 player is on your computer, try going into My Computer. You should see something like Local Disk (C:), Removable Disk (F:) or Removable Disk (J:). My players usually show up in Removable Disk (J:). If you are lucky you will see the mp3 player file as soon as you go into My Computer. But if not, click on different removable files until you find yours.

Once you have found your player, click to go into it. You should see a list of folders. There should be one that says, Music. Go into that. Past the music file that you previously copied by right-clicking and selecting Paste. Your music file will transfer.

You can also transfer your music files via Windows Media Player. To do this, start up the Windows Media Player. At the top of the player you should see Now Playing, Library, Rip, Burn and Sync. Click Sync. If you have music already on your computer (everyone does) you will see the songs already on your computer. Select your song and then drag it over to where it says Sync List. Make sure your device is already connected to your computer! You should see your player in the Sync List. Then click the button that says Start Sync. Thats it!

I am trying to burn a cd on my Acer Aspire 5536-5255 using WMP and it isn't working?

In Windows Media Player, click Library and then, in the List pane, click <List Name> List, and then click Burn List, as shown in the following screen shot.
  1. If you need to clear the list before beginning, click Burn List, and then click Clear List.
  2. Drag a folder from the Contents pane or songs from the Details pane to the List pane to create a list of songs to burn.
  3. In the burn list, drag songs up or down to arrange them in the order you want them to appear on the CD.
  4. Insert a blank CD-R or CD-RW disc in the CD drive.
  5. In the List pane, verify that the songs you have selected to burn will all fit on the disc. If necessary, remove songs from the list by right-clicking a song and then clicking Remove from List, as shown in the following screen shot.

It is possible that a song will not fit even if the total time exactly matches the CD length, because the Player inserts two seconds between songs when burning. Click the Start Burn arrow and verify that Audio CD is selected, as shown in the following screen shot.
lick Start Burn.As the CD is burned, you can check its progress in the burn list. Burning a CD will take some time.Notes It is recommended that you do not try to perform any other actions while burning a CD. For example, playback may be affected if you try to play a music CD while burning a CD.

You cannot burn additional files to a CD after burning is completed. If you are using a CD-RW, you can erase the entire CD before using the Player to burn files to the CD again.

I had to download all kinds of drivers to get my computer to do basics like viewing movies hearing music and finally burn music now i learned i can only save data(lots of songs at one time) or make a cd on...

cd-r80 are for music. Your best option is to buy a program like nero. I assume you are just dragging and dropping files to burn them right now. dvd's are more meant for backing up data or making movies because they hold a lot more data then a cd. Are you able to burn disc's at all? Just like all things involved with computers it can get complicated real quick.I hope this helps a little and if you have more questions let me know
Thanks,

How to record from a website to cd on laptop

To burn cd/dvd you have to check :

1. Your laptop cd/dvd drive have what capability:
- cd writer = only burn cd
- cd writer/dvd reader(combo) = still only burn cd
- dvd writer = can burn cd, dvd single layer(4GB)
- dvd DL writer = can burn cd and dvd single 4GB and dual layer 8GB.
Other than those, is not possible.

2. Must have burn apps named:
- Nero
- Alcohol 120%
- other. search internet.

If you have them then using the apps to burn, just read the manual.

Koam114 is in Korean. I don't understand :)
But If you want songs from website, you should download it first.
Unless the site is giving you a step by step how to burn songs directly to your cd/dvd.
Once downloaded, would be easier to burn to cd/dvd.

Recorded Voice to CD Burner (Want to make CD of voice)

You should be able to burn them directly. Put a blank CD into your CD burner and then pull up My Computer. You should see the CD there in whatever drive you have your CD player/burner set up in (usually D: ). Double click on it to open it. There should not be anything in that folder.

Then while leaving that folder open, go back to My Computer in a new window and open up the folder where you created your sound files (My Documents/My Music). Select the files you want burned to the CD (you can select more than one at a time with by holding down CTRL while you click), right click on them and select 'Copy'.

Then head back over to your blank folder of the CD contents. Right-click and Paste them into that folder. Depending on your version of Windows, either a bubble will pop up on your task bar saying you have files waiting to be burned on the CD or you might have to go into File to find an option to burn to the CD.

Then your files should be all set!

Good luck!

How do can you burn a music cd

First the best thing to do is put all your music from you CD's from to your computer, by using windows media player and clicking on RIP CD and press start RIP. Once you rip all files to Hard Drive use your burner program. I use Nero, but most burning programs using similar fuctionality. If you only want to copy entire CD instead, just go to burning program and select COPY CD. Follow on screen instruction.

Depending on your burner program you can burn audio CD's quite easily. I myself use Nero and can guide you through the process.
Depending on how you have your desktop setup, I click on me Nero Smart Start. If you don't, then see if you have it under program files and run it.

FOR FULL PROOF RECORDINGS USE NERO AND FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Once started move mouse pointer on to the audio symbol
  • Click on Audio CD or MP3 CD (Audio Cd for all stereo systems with Cd player and mp3 for only mp3 players. MP3 hold files of music in megabytes and Audio is in minutes and can only fit 89mins on disk)
  • Now a separate box opens up and click on add
  • Another window will open. Need to select My Documents on left hand side in blue writing (That's where Media player stores music)
  • Then double click on My Music Folder under the name category.
  • Then double click on any of the folders of music for example I might have a folder of Mariah Carey, Metalicca and so on and click again on another directory(separate directories if more the one cd if some band here). In each folder will be the music files or names
  • Onec chosen folder click on each individual song and press add, you can also preview each track if no name and only track number
  • You can also click the Green arrow in the right top hand corner to go back to previous folders and click on the ones require to select other songs from other folders.
  • Click on Finish, check if you need more music and add if so, if you have too many deltee them
  • Then click next
  • Make sure blank CD-R 80mins is in drive
  • Select the writing speed and set to 16 speed, as some CD-Players are older and can't read above 16x
  • You can select also How many copies if you like
  • Click on Burn and wait till complete, about 10mins to burn.
  • Once complete click on ok to successful burn and close down Nero. CD will spit out and play CD in a CD player
  • one perfect recording done!
