Having problem with downloads on my computer they save after downloading but then they disappear don't know where they are to open them looked everywhere but can't find

That is a DOS exe / command to make changes on hard drives, including partitions. Can not be used within an active Windows drive to make changes on itself. It's like having heart surgery, but you're the surgeon. Just can't be done.

Besides you don't really need it, unless you are working with Win 95 - 98 and floppy's. Instead use the advance options from an installation disc to delete / create partitions. To make changes on an additional drive within windows use diskmgmt.msc in the run /search box.

You didn't state what Operating System you are using.
Click on the blue Down Arrow, to the right side of the -
Downloads and Drivers box.

Click on the name of the Operating System you are using.
If it is a Windows version of O/S, just go below, and click on the first file listed -

KODAK All-In-One Printer Home Center Software (including drivers) -
WINDOWS Operating Systems.

Click on Download in the dark blue rectangle.
A small window will come up on the right -> Opening aio_install.exe
Click on Save File.

A small window will come up on the left. In the wording at the top of this window, tells you where the file will download to.

Using Windows XP as an example;

The window will have Desktop, or My Documents, or Downloads, in the wording.
Desktop: The file will be on your desktop screen.

My Documents: Click on Start, then on My Documents.

Downloads: Click on Start, then on My Documents.
DOUBLE-click on Downloads.

When you see the file name DOUBLE-click on it. The Installation Wizard will appear.
At the bottom of the next three small windows click on -
Next, Next, and Finish.

If you are not prompted to restart your computer, close all windows, go back to your desktop screen. Restart your computer.
(Start > Turn Off Computer > Restart)

When Windows has fully loaded again, plug your printer back into the computer, turn the printer on.

Once you have selected the song to download you will get a message whether you want to run or save the file select save a browse option will open navigate to your usb drive you can save your music there or anywhere you want

I don't know what software you want to install back to your computer. Just let me know more details then I may help you out.
If you have the software disk then just put it in your computer and follow the instruction.
If you don't have the disk, you can download it from internet, select Save button and Click Run after download.

I don't know what version you're using but the error is regarding the fact that the program can't open the file because it's to old or a newer version unsupported.

Try downloading the latest version: HERE
open the file you're having problems with and save the file type to the version you're using. v8 or v7 I presume ?
If all else fails, you could always give inDesign a bash. They also have a version you can trial for a few days.

When you open your mail, after reading it, at the bottom of the mail, you would see your attachments, there is a 'view' link. You click on this if you just want to view the file. Then there is a 'download' link, you click on this if you want to download the file. When you download, it would provide you with the option to either 'open' or 'save' the file. Choosing 'open' will open the file. You would then have to save it onto your pc. Choosing 'save' would automatically save it on to any location you specify.

Hello, well, you need to install a pdf reader. pdf stands for Portable Document File and is provided free by the company called Adobe Acrobat. Just Google for 'pdf reader' and download and install that first. By the way, you don't 'run' a pdf file, you 'open' it. Maybe you already have Adobe Acrobat reader, but have never used it so your computer doesn't 'know' what to do with a pdf file. So, right-click on the pdf file that you downloaded, and select 'open with' and look to see if you have Adobe Acrobat as an option. Then try selecting it. Download a program called handbrake here
Install with default settings.
With the disc in your computer and Handbrake running, click FILE, OPEN SOURCE.
Select the DVD in the list shown.
It should automatically show that it has selected the longest title on the disc. Probably the only title.
Select a destination for the file it creates
Choose the iphone or ipod touch profile, even if it's just for playback on your computer.
Click the RIP button the estimated time may be off by a few minutes depending on the speed of your computer.
When Handbrake finished, exit and play the movie on your computer

most likely it requires windows media player version 10 or higher which unfortunately is not compatible with windows 98 so that way will not work. You may be able to bypass windows media player by going to the manufactuers website and downloading a specialized driver for windows 98 and then drag and dropping your music onto the pkayer if this doesn't work I am sorry
