You have to remove the interior door panel. then you can access the window regulator motor assembly. On vws you usually have to remove the assembly as a whole. Go to your local parts store and buy a haynes repair manual for your car they are pretty good. the cost around 15 bucks.
The sunroof motor is right above the open/close button inside the headliner. You are going to have to remove the headliner to replace it. Just a couple of screws and a connector from there.
