1988 f-150 5.0, had no injector pulse, repaired lots of wiring & finally got injectors to pulse with a different computer but still wont run

Do you have spark and fuel pressure? Check the inertia switch? You might try a spray of starting fluid. If it tries to start you would know that the engine has spark, but the injectors could be working without fuel pressure and starting fluid would show you it is a fuel pressure problem if the engine fires with starting fluid.

My 98 ford explorer wont start its turning over and getting spark and fuel

OK IF YOUR YOUR SURE YOU HAVE SPARK AND FUEL THEN THE PROBLEM IS AIR OR COMPRESSION I WOULD THINK COMPRESSION DO A QUICK COMPRESSION TEST AND I THINK YOU WILL FIND THE PROBLEM IS A BROKEN TIMING CHAIN ONE OTHER POSSIBILITY IS A PLUGGED CATALYST BUT FOR BOTH BANKS TO BE PLUGGED TO THE POINT IT WILL NOT START IS VERY RARE GOOD LUCK (WHEN YOU SAY YOU HAVE FUEL DO YOU MEAN THE FUEL PRESSURE IS GOOD AND YOU HAVE INJECTOR PULSE OR JUST THAT YOU HAVE GOOD PRESSURE THE INJECTORS MUST PULSE AND HAVE AROUND 45 TO 60 PSI (RULE OF THUMB) FOR IT TO START ) USE A NOID LIGHT TO TEST INJECTOR PULSE OR IF NOT AVILABE SUBSTIUTE A 194 BULB AND BEND THE WIRE TABS FROM THE BULB DOWN AND PLUG THEM INTO THE INJECTOR HARNESS (NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ASIAN OR EUROPEAN CARS ) THIS LIGHT WILL BLINK WHEN CRANKING OR RUNNING IF YOU HAVE INJECTOR PULSE

1989 Ford Ranger 2.3l. Won't start. Does not have injector pulse. Has spark on all 4 passenger side wires. Has at least some fuel pressure. Timing and belt good. This was a progressive problem in that...

The fuel pressure has to to 35 to 45 psi. And no low fuel pressure will not cause no injector pulse. The veicle sounds more like a idle air control problem why? because as you stated it runs rough when it does start.Get it to start sysle the key you will hear the fuel pump go on cycle it three times then start it up. when the vehicle warms up take the idle air valve out and clean it with carburator cleaner or even brake cleaner you may even want to do the throttle body itself this should help with the hard start up and rough running

1999 ford escort sport wont start turns over

Check all fuses first. Then have someone listen near the back wheel when you first turn the key to "on" they should hear a hum if the fuel pump is working. If not, you will need a pressure tester for the fuel system to check for pressure at the test port near the engine. If OK, check for spark and injector pulse (you'll need noid lights for the injectors). If fuel pressure is low or none, you need a pump (don't replace till you check to see if it's getting power). If no spark or injector pulse, you probably need a Crank Position Sensor.

Wont start\good fuel pressure\good spark

Then the fuel injectors are not pulsing, replace the crankshaft sensor,it controls the spark, but also the pulse for the injectors.

1979 ford f250 wont start unless i put gas in CARB

first of all you have no carb its fuel injected, at least you know you have spark, now do you have fuel pressure??, is the fuel pump working?/ if you have fuel and pressure then you have to check signal at the injectors, so if you have fuel pressure and a good injector pulse the next step is to check the injectors, this may require removal, good luck

Grand cherokee 2000 starting probs
