Question about Zebra Printer 140-751-00000

Zebra 140XiIII Plus error No Ribbon. printer stops when printing

The printer starts to print labels and stops. Displays error. I have to open the arm that hold the label and ribbon down and press the Pause button to get it to start again. could it be a sensor going out?

try to run the manual calibratio from the setings.
run "manual calibration"
move the ribbon out from the sensor (with the print head open) and take out 3 or 4 labels from the rollar and put that blank label paper unther the sensors on the left,
say "ok"
wen appear "reload all"
put the ribbon and the normal labels on the correct possition, and say "ok"
try to run sext the sensor profile.
save data (twice on "setup button")
tur off, and on again.

Could be that the printer needs to be calibrated or that the Belt on the inside of the printer could have a bad spot on it. Since the belt pulls the ink and label at the same time it hits the bad spot on the bad belt and causes it to stop.

Press cancel for 5 seconds while power on to print config. Then check the following parameter.

direct thermal = no ribbon
thermal transfer = ribbon

I have a Z140XiIII that used to have a ribbon and thermal transfer stock. we changed the stock to not require a ribbon, so we removed the ribbon and set the menu to Thermal direct. labels print OK but the...
If the printer is flashing "Ribbon in" then it sounds like the printer setting to Thermal Direct is being changed back to Thermal Trans. Verify this after sending a format. This is very common because the printer is bring over-ridden by the software and/or printer driver when you send a format.

Look for a setting in the software / driver for direct thermal and make the change there.

How do you clear the printer buffer on a zebra 140Xi111 plus
1. click on "start" select "run" and type "services.msc"
2. after open services windows select "print spooler" services
3. stop "print spooler" services
4. click on "start" select "run" and type "C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\printers"
5. after open the printers folder deleted all the pending print jobs
6. restart the "print spooler" services and try to print now.

Want to reset my Zebra 140XiIII back to factory settings?
I resolved the problem by going into the setup program and then exiting and at that point I was prompted to save my changes and one of the options was to load Default settings. Once I chose this I was able to print on the 4X6 labels correctly, before that the configuration was feeding a label and 1/2 and print across two labels.

Small label is being cropped at the top
Have you tried the menu settings for start top of label? If other printers work, you are talking about a configuration setting. I would get a configuration off another printer that works and look at yours real close.

140XiIII left side print right side completely blank
Verify your LCD Display Print Width setting is set wider than your actual label width. The printer will only print to the width of the PRINT WIDTH setting. Also verify any driver or software settings as these override your printer settings.

how to configure METTLER TOLEDO 8450 scale I get an error message when I try to enter a price or weight for an item on the scale. It says "no scale for weight" ??? And I also don't know how to format or configure this unit. The User Guide is not help here and Mettler will not provide any help. No documentation out there to help. This company sucks all the want is to pay them ...
