I need a Singer Profinish "Thread Tree" replaced. Where can i order one?

My cat broke off the metal piece for my thread tree. The base of the thread tree can be unscrewed and replaced very easily. I am not paying someone $100 for service alone to unscrew it and rescrew a new one on. I would like to pay for the thread tree itself, and do it myself. Where can I buy this specific part? I have looked everywhere and I can't find it.

Troubles with the bobbin tension on the singer quantum 9960

the small flat spring on the bobbin holder under which you pull the thread is the tension setting for bobbin thread
it extremely delicate and just a partial turn of the screw that holds that spring in place has a large influence on the tension
mostly problems here are that the needle tension is insufficient and causes the problems

Confidence Quilter 7469Q how do I load the bobbin?

Are you trying to wind the bobbin or just dropping it into the bobbin case and bring up the thread?

To wind the bobbin, place the spool on the pin and secure it with the spool pin cap. Pull the thread and pull it through the thread guides. The first guide is accessed by going around it and then pulling the thread under it. Go under the adjacent guide and then wrap the thread counter-clockwise (when facing the front of the machine) under the next guide to bring the thread back to the bobbin winder. Hold the bobbin with the hole up and pull the thread through that hole. Push the bobbin winder shaft to the far left and place the bobbin on the winder pin. Push the bobbin and winder shaft to the right until it clicks. Hold the thread and start the sewing machine. It will automatically stop when the bobbin is full. Move the bobbin winder shaft and bobbin to the left and take the bobbin off. Then cut the thread to separate the bobbin from the spool thread.

To put the bobbin into the bobbin case and bring up the thread:
Make sure that the needle is in the highest position (use the handwheel). Then open the bobbin cover by pressing the release lever to the right and then lifting up the cover. Hold the bobbin with the hole up so that the bobbin turns counter-clockwise when you pull the thread. Drop the bobbin into the bobbin case. Pull the thread into the slot just to the left of the bottom center (6 o'clock on a 12-hour analog clock), of the bobbin case. Place a finger on top of the bobbin and pull the thread to the left until it stops at the slot between the 7-8 o'clock position. Now pull the thread along the groove in the needle plate to the thread cutter. Replace the clear bobbin cover. The thread should be pulled up by the needle thread without any additional effort. (If it isn't, there may be a problem with the bobbin case or race.)

Singer has the manual for the 7469Q on their site: http://www.singerco.com/support/instruction-manuals . The direct link to the manual is http://www.singerco.com/uploads/download/549_7469_efs.pdf . Winding the bobbin is on page 16; threading the bobbin at the bobbin case is on page 18. These pages have good pictures to go with the descriptions.

I hope this helps.

How do I correct excessive noise and rattling of bobbin in Singer Quantum Stylist 9960 model sewing machine?

Do NOT oil!!

You need to have the bobbin case replaced. I had mine replaced under warranty.

Only had machine for a couple weeks and the the automatic thread cutter button doesn't cut the thread. still have to pull the thread up out of the bottom

There may be thread stuck in the cutter, or the tensions are too low to hold the thread fetcher to pull it across the knife. I would suggest returning it to your dealer for some help.

Can not lower the needle to pick up bobbin thread on my Singer Stylist 7358 machine

Where the bobin is at re check the exterior of the part that spins you may have a thread stuck and keeping it in place use a flash light then replace bobbin as you depress the power controller asist the wheel this should free up the bobbin area and should run

Upper thread keeps breaking

I have this problem too. I have traced the problem to a design fault in the thread path. The thread wares a groove in the casing and snaggs the tread causing it to stretch and break. When it breaks it releases so it took me a long time to locate this problem. I have just contacted Singer and am awaiting their response. (See photo)
it is my belief that this problem is responsible for needles snapping and a host of other issues.
I hopes this helps. It should be an easy fix, it just requires a metal plate to cover the grooves cut by the thread.

Singer 9960 automatic thread cutter not working

I'm looking for a solution to why the thread cutter isn't working. It just pulls the thread into a knot and jams the bobbin case. I was hoping for an answer here but the answer had nothing to do with the question!
