Yesterday I had scaned my ipod model No.A1199 sl.no YM721P7XVQT 8GB. BUT ACCENDITENLY I deleated accessories files from my ipod. now it is dead. please kindly help me how to restore it or get a free download from internet.

Have you tried plugging into your computer and starting up itunes? If it powers up that way then you should be able to check for updates and itunes should instal the latest firmware which will put the lastest version on you ipod, including your missing files.

As far as I can make out the model A1199 is an ipod nano and you will be able to pick up a manual for it at http://support.apple.com/manuals/#ipod Hope this helps.
All you have to do is plug in your iPod and go to Itunes. From there go to your ipod and press restore. this will erase everything from your iPod including the pin.
