Depends on the car.

suvs;
get a box made for 4, the fire towars the headliner or the floor but work. or you can make a U box and fit 4.

to fit 6,
4 in the trunk and if ur back seats sit high enough 1 under each seat.

of a custom box to hold 2 in the front, 2 on top and 1 on each end. = 6... all in one box. loose sound quality but would work.

I have 4 mtx 9500 12in subs 2 of them is on a mtx 92001 and the other is on a mtx 4001d . would it be better to run all four on the mtx 4001d. for more power and a better sound or how should i run this set...

NEVER mix different power amps. Depending on the ohms of your subs, sell one of the amps, up to you. The 4001 has more power, but either amp will do the job, the amp needs to see a 1 ohm load, so your subs have to be dual 2 ohms, or single 4 ohms to do this. If your subs are dual 4 ohms then you will have to run your amp at 2 ohms which would be have the power, or a half an ohm, (Not Recomended) and be at double the power. You may be able to do a competion sound off and just "Burp" the subs, but at a half an ohm, dont expect to listen to it to long before it goes into protect and shuts down.

Can you bridge 2 4 ohm kicker speakers to a mtx thunder 7801 amp?

Ya. Just hook one sub to your amp (bridged) and hook the other sub (positive and negative) to the first subs positive and negative

How do i wire a mtx 251d at a 2 ohm load

To wire up a 2 ohm load depends on the subs. You will either need 1 sub rated at 2 ohms or 2 subs at 4 ohms wired in parallel. This website will help.
http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=2&I=41#results
You can also use 1 dual voice coil sub rated at 4 ohms wiring the same way you would the 2subs at 4 ohms. Good Luck

Can you help with my wiring?

The more amp you are pushing the better. Better too much amp then not enough. How many watts per speaker? less then the amp I hope. When you need decibles the more air you push the louder it will be. Enclose in a MDFB enclosure or plexiglass and feed towards each other and port the box to the sides. This will cause some annoyance. We ran 2 rockforts @1000 watts and abtained 137dc before the back windshield blow out,,lol

How do i wire mtx 9500 subs 2 10'' down to a one ohm

THE T9510-04 SUBS ARE SINGLE COIL SUBS AND YOU CAN VIEW THAT WIRING DIAGRAM AT THE FOLLOWING LINK:
http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products/subwoofers/TechData_T9510-04.pdf

THE T9510-44 SUBS ARE DUAL VOICE-COIL SUBS AND YOU CAN VIEW THAT WIRING DIAGRAM AT THE FOLLOWING LINK:
http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products/subwoofers/TechData_T9510-44.pdf

SINCE YOU NEED A 1 OHM LOAD, I PRESUME BRIDGED AND ARE USING TWO SUBS, THEN HOPEFULLY YOU HAVE THE DUAL VOICE COIL TYPE, AS THEY ARE DUAL 4 OHM AND YOU WILL HAVE TO CONNECT THE VOICE-COILS IN PARALLEL WHICH WILL MAKE EACH SPEAKER A 2 OHM SPEAKER AND THEN CONNECT THE TWO SPEAKERS THEMSELVES IN PARALLEL AND THIS WILL PROVIDE YOU THE 1 OHM LOAD. IF YOU IN FACT HAVE THE SINGLE 4 OHM VOICE COIL VERSION, THEN IT WILL ONLY PARALLEL THE PAIR DOWN TO 2 OHMS. OK. LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED FURTHER ASSISTANCE.....V

I would stick with Kicker or MTX. The best place in my mind to get them is soncelectronix.com
Just try to mach the specs as close as possible. Make sure to look at the recommendations of the subs for the size of the box and the port volume.

Im trying to run two kenwood 6/9,s and a mtx sledge hammer 12'' sub of a mtx 6004 amp.where do i put my rca,s front or rear / and if this is poss how do i bridge the sub ????? im lost

Im kind of confused with what exactly your asking. Are you trying to run 3 subs off of an amp? If so, the RCA's should go to the front of the amp, and if your plugging 3 subs in to it, you need to have a 3+ channel amp. There is a way to hook it up differently though. I have 4 12" Hifonics subs running off a 2400 watt Nitro-BMW-486 amp. I just have two subs running to each of the two channels.

I have a kicker zx700.5 amp

Hello aj_vidal22,

Here's the link to MTX's sub page where you can view or download the information you need to properly wire the subs to your amp.

http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products/manualsQuickInstall/subs.cfm

For maximum power, you'll need to wire the subs so that they present a 2 ohm load to the sub outputs on your amp. That will give you the full 420 watts RMS the amp is rated for. Likewise, you,ll want the run the front 4-channels at 2 ohms. Run separately, they produce 85 Watts times 4 channels, or if bridged, 130 watts times 2-channels. But if you run fronts at 4 ohms, they only produce 70 watts times 4 channels and your sub output at 4 ohms drops to 210 watts.

Hope this helps.
