Speakerphone on nokia 6085

Recently my phone has gotten to where whenever i make or receive a call it automatically puts it on speakerphone, and wont let me go back to normal. as well as this problem, it wont let me turn down the volume, or at least when i do it has no effect on the actual volume.

help please!

I) perform firmware update by visiting "http://nds1.nokia.com/files/support/global/phones/software/NokiaSoftwareUpdaterSetup_en.exe"---> this will download a software, u have to install it, run the prog, follow onscreen instructions, bios or firmware will be updated(make sure u already have Nokia PC suite installed, Connected to internet........this is an online update....)

here when we do online firmware update or bios update  all the functionalities of ur phone return to factory mode....

There is a metal sim card holder located near the base of the phone.
Unlatch it with your fingernail and swing it up.

Hi,

there is solution for your phone.when making calls, those the speaker of the phone work?

If it works that means the problem is from the front board of he phone,which might need to be replaced or serviced.

When serviced if it still has the same problem, it will need to be replaced.

Can't get loud volume from 6085 Nokia speakerphone
hey, i think we cant do anything for that, some nokia phone is not sterio type speaker, but if you are using it when calling, maybe try to bring it in the cellphone shop for diagnostic.

You most likely need a new ribbon cable, which is the cable that connects the two halves of the phone. They are not expensive and can be ordered on eBay, and they come with the tools required to disassemble the phone and replace the cable.

My Nokia 6085 512MB SD card i took it out of my newer Nokia 6300 and put it in my 6085 it doesnt have any format information in any of the options of it but i cant access it it wont even work on my 6300...
that happened with our computer. just format it with a computer and then keep it in 1 device.
