SOURCE: What are recycled plastic Adirondack chairs made from?

Most companies that make recycled plastic Adirondack chairs are using old water bottles and milk containers. They can be made from up to 90% recycled plastic and are said to last several years. In my opinion, this is an option worth looking into. They will probably be quite inexpensive too.

What is the best material to make Adirondack chairs from?

Most people would say that polywood constructed chairs are the most durable (they are also some of the most expensive). I would recommend a cedar made Adirondack chair. It is great for outdoor use and will last a long time.

I would like to buy some cushions for our Adirondack chairs. Can anyone recommend a good site?

There are many sites with a variety of cushions to choose from. I recommend a weather-resistant cushion like this one - http://www.plowhearth.com/weather-resistant-outdoor-classic-adirondack-cushions_p1469.html

You can also make your own cushions if you would like. There is a great article and tutorial on making your own Adirondack cushions. It could be a fun project.
