SOURCE: Laars lite 2 Spark egnighter will not spark

turn power off first. I would disconnect igniter wire which will be a thick orange wire that comes off of ignition module if it is spark. once you have that the end will look like a spark plug wire take shield away from metal then hold orange wire in hand close but not touching metal turn power on and it will take a couple of minutes before it should start sparking. If you don't see a spark then it is most likely the ignition module. There should be a red light on ignition module that will blink to tell you what the failure is if is is a newer on. When you turn power on to laars light 2 the inducer motor should come on then a pressure switch should send 24volt to gas valve for pilot to lite. Can you smell gas at all when laars should be igniting. If you have any questions fell free to email me back

SOURCE: goodman gmp075-3 led blinks 5 times

I Also have the same and other problems with my furnace model # GDS80703AXBB. First the LED kept blinking 4 times and I too jumped the primary limit, that didn't kelp. After several attemps I moved the wires going to the circut board and everything starting working again. After a week It stopped working again, so I pulled the plug out of the circut board checked all wires for for a bad connection plugged it back in. Now the LED blinks 6 times again I move the wires. Then the LED blinks 3 times. Then the transformer burns out. I have burned out 2 transformers and I have ordered a new circut board.

SOURCE: ok, I checked both rollouts,

Hello, check to see if you are getting a 120 volts at the motor, if no voltage then the control board is bad. Make sure tje door switch is taped down when checking. Also, check for 24 volts on a call for heat at the w and c terminals on the control board, if you have voltage but but motor does not run also indicates a bad board

I hooked up a coleman electric furnace to a janitrol condenser heat pump . The t-stat wires on electric furnace are red white green and yellow. I added a blue for common off of transformer for digital...

Hi, first of all you need to get a hand full of 5 amp auto type fuses and install one on the hot leg of the 24 volt secondary side of the transformer. Just use 2 female crimp on connectors and put the fuse in the middle of the hot wire. Saves $$$$ on replacing transformers when you have a dead short on the low or high voltage side of any transformer, just a trick of the trade, food for thought. Fuses are much cheaper. On your electric unit, you may not need the common on this to operate the digital stat if it has batteries. This may be your dead short. On the Janitrol condenser, the red is your 24v as you no. They are using blue in place of yellow for cooling. Red is hot, W is heat, G for fan, and blue is cooling on this Janitrol. Keep in mind you are connecting to a heat-pump also, so make sure the wiring is correct. Are you installing this for secondary Heat?? More then likely, the blue common you have added is the dead short as the janitrol uses the blue for a cooling relay in place of yellow. Anyway, use the 5 amp fuse, trick of the trade to save on the transformers. Please keep me posted, as I know know you have this under control.

Everything is operating fine but the furnace wont fire. you can hear the gas kick in for like 3 seconds and kick back off when it doesn't ignite. then after about 5 tries it shuts down and the red light...

COULD POSSIBLY BE A BAD IGNIGHTER.I DON'T KNOW THIS SYTEM BUT THE SAFTY PROTOCALS ARE WORKING.THE THERMOCOUPLE(IT DETECTS HEAT)IS TELLING THE BOARD IT HAS NO IGNITION,THEREFORE KEEPING YOU FROM BLOWING YOUR HOUSE UP.IF IGNITION HAS'NT HAPPENED WITHIN A FEW SECONDS IT SHUTS THE GAS OFF.IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING DON'T MESS WITH IT,.IF YOU GET INTO THE WRONG THING YOU WILL ALLOW NATURAL GAS OR PROPANE TO LEAK INTO YOUR HOME(THIS IS A BAD THING)THE COTROL BOARD BLINKING IS A TROUBLE CODE.USE YOUR OWN JUDGEMENT.IF YOU NEED FURTHER HELP CONTACT ME.THE IGNIGHTER IS EASY TO CHANGE.ENOUGH SAID!!!!!
