Some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement.

1. Check if the power cord has been properly connected to the power outlet.
2. Check if the main power has been switched on.
   (DVD player's power supply transformer could be burned out)

3. test the power outlet wall see the diagram
4. do not use the r.control use the power button directly from TV.

The audio output card might be damaged. The rate quoted by Warner is reasonable.

Evidently there are some partially short capacitors/components in the board that draws power from the PS. Look for it, if you have the necessary measuring instruments and tools with you.

I don't know if the screws would be different depending on the tv model, but on a Vizio Model E470VLE 47" LCD HDTV, the screws for the base are M4 x 30ST.

Hi there, if you are trying to just remove the base, then on your model there is one screw in the center of the underside of the base. If you want to remove the neck of the base to then remove the 8 screws on the back of the tvs neck too. I hoped this helped, please rate thank you!
