2001 Audi A6 2.7t , my audi symphony radio locked out

You will need the code to get it working. You may need Audi for this. Never disconnect the battery, or the alarm with trip on. Since it is frozen, I would try and remove the fuse, and reinstall it to reset the stereo. Then try the code.
I got lucky in my 2001 VW passat, when the stereo code was needed, but then the next day it started working by itself.

HOW TO UNLOCK RADIO 4 AUDI A6 1999

Turn on radio - the word SAFE will appear in the display. Press th P.SCAN and RBDS buttons simultaneously and hold them down until "1000" lights up in the display.Release buttons.Do not, under no circumtances, continue holding them down or press them once again. This will cause the radio to consider the number 1000 to be the input code.Use station buttons 1,2,3,and 4 to enter the code number on your Radio Card. Use the button 1 to enter the first number 2 for the second number 3 for the third number and 4 for the last number.Once you have entered the code and it shows on the display, press the P.SCAN and RBDS buttons down again simultaneously and hold them down until the word SAFE appears in the display.Release buttons. Cd player hook up

This should be plug and play. If it is not working, check your fuse box for a blown fuse. My radio has a CD/CDC button to swithc between in car CD and CD Changer.

How can I find a replacement 6 CD disc changer for my Audi A6 (2005 model) please?

Most of the OEM headunits and changers are made by common radio manufacturers. Visit http://www.crutchfield.com and contact them. They make adapters that will interface an aftermarket changer to your factory system. if you could get me a model number and any other info offf of the radio and the changer I will research adapters and which brands and models of changers will work.
