Does the dx-4840 come with wireless internet or do i have to download something

Assuming you are using a newer version of Windows...Insert nano adapter into an available USB slot and the system should auto detect the adapter/mouse.

I don't know the answer but I thought I would mention a computer boffin friend had trouble trying to use stuff intended for 32 bit with a computer running 64 bit Windows.

get to the mouse manufacturer web site
select the down load for your model to suit vista
down load and run

You shouldn't have to disable it. If you put an external video card in, it should automatically detect it. Do you have something like a cordless phone or baby monitor near the router or laptop? These can cause interference with the wireless signal and cause dropped connections.

The security button is for if you have a compatible wireless card, you can get it to 'automatically' configure the wireless settings by pushing this button on the wireless router, and then press the button on the wireless client... they exchange the wireless keys, etc and establish a connection without having to configure it in Windows.
