if ur using a legitimate antivirus software then ur antivirus technical assistance would be the best support u cud ever get.. before doing tht try to re-install the antivirus this may also help u.

Update problem with symantec antivirus


Close the antivirus program and reopen it. When it isclosed, the icon yellow for norton will not appear on bottom right hand side along with volume icon etc. You may also restart the computer to see id that helps. Right click the Norton icon and see id it says ENABLE AUTOPROTECT or DISABLE AUTOPROTECT. Try enabling.Try the same update after a while. If that does not work, try reinstalling Norton. I get 100s of viruses from 100s of friends and all sorts of things happen to me anti virus etc
but I am told that pretty normal

Not opening the norton antivirus software.


hi there

could you be more specific on your problem. if your norton plainly does not work or your auto protect is disabled and you cant activate it, you can just uninstall it and re-install. this usually is the worst case scenario if you cannot be specific on what your norton problem is.

I keep getting a message that my computer is not protected from future trojans and such. I bought a oprogram from you that I paid for on-line that I thought was supposed to protect me from all spyware,...


i think you have not updated the antivirus virus signature database for many days so this may be the reason you are getting the message like that ....

may be some files of the antivirus got corrupted just try reinstalling & then update .. your problem will surely be solved ...

keep updating your antivirus virus list database atleast once in a month ....
so that you will be protected from the viruses etc ....

Uninstall the trial antivirus 2008


go to google.com and input in the search bar: norton removal tool

download and run the tool and then restart and install new version.

Hi! You can update MANUALLY (i.e., download into a removable media and then load into your target computer) your Norton Anti-Virus Definitions and Programs from the following sites:

If you are using a Apple Macintosh you can use
