Xbox360 wireless Force Feed back racing wheel foot pedals are not working

I have tried: - taking apart foot pedals to see if there are any loose wires, - replacing RJ11 cable - settings in Forza 2/ F1 2011

  • Anonymous Nov 06, 2012

After fiddling and doing a bit of research, I found out that the xbox360 steering wheel takes the strait RJ11 cable and not a cross over RJ11 cable. I have yet to get the cable, but I believe this may be the solution

SOURCE: Racing wheel setup

OK, at least for my issues, after talking to MS support ...

Here was the issue with the Setup disc (Forza Demo): If it jumps into the demo ... the XBOX DOES NOT need to be updated.

As for not connecting to the XBOX (Sync'ing up the controllers) ...

You need to press the SYNC (located by the memory card slots)Button BEFORE you PRESS the SYNC button on the wheel controller. Once you do that (a step that is not clearly pointed out in the stupid an poorly written manual) all worked asa expected. A Simple hook-up procedeure that took 2 days because of a step that was not pointed out or not made obvious to the XBox Parents and non users.

I have the Wireless Racing Wheel with Force Feedback. We usually play Forza Motorsport 2 and everything worked fine. We recently bought Need for Speed Hot Pursuit (2010) and the pedals don't work. ...

Hello, NFS Hot pursuit 2010 on the Xbox 360 officially supports the Microsoft wheel but any Xbox 360 wheel will most likely work fine....their words. I haven't played the console version but if you say the wheel works I suggest you try remapping the pedal controls under gameplay settings if this is possible

I hope this helps, thanks for using FixYa.

Problema with thrustmaster racing whell

this is because the 2 pedals are acting as buttons. so wen u press them then computer thinks ur pressing a button all way down instead of rotating an axis. you have to somehow find a way to tell computer that you have pedals and that the axis have to be callibrated in control panel. i have no idea how this is done though.

Playstation3

what model is it? (though all logitech wheels are supposed to be compatible)
the main problem is probably that there are few games/demos which actually support racing wheels. try getting the gran turismo HD concept for free, that supports racing wheels

Mono racing wheel

recalibrate it on the windows program, or download the logitech calibration program from their website, also make sure the pedals are properly connected to the wheel, if the connector is loose it might not work properly.

to recalibrate on windows - start - control panel - game controllers - logitech momo - properties - calibrate.
