SOURCE: need help in connecting to the internet using Dlink 704p router.....

it doesn't matter whether the other computer is set to static and the other one is set to dynamic as long as both computers are getting/using valid ip addresses.
if i got it right. 1 computer is connected to the LAN port of the router and the other computer is connected to the WAN port. if so, you need to connect both computer to the LAN ports and the WAN port of the router should be connected to the modem that you are using.
if the physical connection is correct, check how you are connecting to the internet through the modem. if you can access the internet from the modem without configuring anything, you just need to power cycle. turn off everything then turn on the modem first, wait for the lights on the modem to turn on properly before turning on the router then turn on the computers.
hope this'll help you but if not, just provide the following:
(1)ISP:
(2)brand/model of the modem:
so i can help you further.

SOURCE: Lost connection to internet after 2 days

I ran into the same problem when i was living in Reno.
I fixed my problem by First, Access Command Prompt, by way of Run Program: CMD
then i inputed the command ipconfig /all
Find the wireless portion in the information that it gives you, what you are looking for is the Mac Address. it should be 12 total Alpha Numeric string, which is seperated every 2 by a dash marker.

Next, access the router through the normal way of browser, In the Wireless section, there is a tab that you select to input the Mac Address into the router, to basically give the router a permission to always give that computer access to the internet. This worked for me. I do hope it works for you. Its what i have always done in the past when i set up wireless Offices

SOURCE: trying to share internet connection

Make sure that the modem is connected to the internet port of the router and the pc should be connected to the numbered ports. Now power cycle the network, turn off the router first then the modem. Wait for 3-5 minutes then turn on the modem and router.

I have Vizio model D60n-E3 tv that im adding a android boxnex box A95X and then a keyboard logitec K120 and was wondering if there is a way to get the internet on my tv with this set up?

The Vizio TV can only access the Internet through the Wi-Fi connection and only for its internal VIA applications. You can use it as a large monitor to any other external device, such as a computer or Android box, using the VGA port or one of the HDMI ports. I have a Raspberry Pi attached to my Vizio TV to do that. I bought a Vizio box that does access the Internat through my Wi-Fi connection and also uses the Vizio TV as a monitor.

If you have an HDMI input available, try a Roku. There are others such as: Chromecast, RaspberryPi, AppleTV and more. If you have a PC or VGA input - you could connect a computer and use it with a wireless keyboard & mouse.
