Connect an Ethernet cable to one of the 'LAN' ports on the router and to the network-port on your computer.
Click Start
Click Run
Type CMD and press ENTER
Type IPCONFIG and press ENTER.
You should get output like:
Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 124.268.336.448
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 123.456.789.0
Start Internet Explorer.
Type:
http://123.456.789.0
to connect to the web-server "inside" the router.
Run the "wireless network setup wizard" to configure the router
with an SSID and a password.
Save and reboot the router.
Disconnect the Ethernet cable.
Your computer should report "Wireless Networks are available".
Choose your network, and enter the password for the network.
