I can only give you some ground rules to follow: Connect ALL of the audio equipment to a single receptacle or power conditioner. This may mean running an extension cord back from where the speakers plug in to the mixer. Use BALANCED lines, either XLR or TRS to connect the speakers to the mixer. Power the lights separately. To give anymore suggestions would require a diagram of how your venue is laid out and the location of power, etc.
The laser pickup is the problem, overtime the laser becomes weaker until it can not read discs, the second thing I run into is the pladder motor that cd sits on stops working. The only option is clean the laser lens with a Q-Tip and rubbing alcohol, if this fails! the unit must be replaced because the cost of repair will exceed what the item is worth.
HI. you can repair by replacing the optical lens assembly. it has failed at this point. The parts needed will need to be purchased through the manufactuer of the unit.
There is a Problem with the Board.. and you need to take it to a service technician, Lightsounds Sydney City does repairs on these units. give them a call on 9357-1771
