Yes it is but you will need some certain tools

Insert your plastic pry tool into the seam in the side of your touch and run it along the length of the device to release the back panel from the front.

If your replacement screen did not come with a plastic pry tool, then a small flat-head screwdriver will also work.

Remove the square battery from the motherboard in the front housing by running the pry tool along the sides of it and gently pulling up.

Remove the small piece of black tape from the bottom of the front housing to expose three screws.

Remove the three screws using your small Phillips-head screwdriver. Remove the small screw near the top of the battery connector ribbon as well.

Remove the metal cover from the bottom of the front housing with the plastic pry tool.

This will expose the ribbon that connects the screen to the front housing and motherboard.

Flip the screen-connector ribbon up and gently pop it out. Then remove the two screws at the top of the front housing and disconnect the one other screen-connector ribbon.

This will release a thin metal board at the top of the housing that guards the screen. Pull the metal board out carefully.

Remove the 16 small screws from the side of the screen.

Once the screws are removed, the LCD screen will be free of the housing.

Gently remove the screen and replace it with the new one.

Replace the screws and reassemble the iPod touch the same way you took it apart.

I was listening to music and my ipod was in my back pocked and the screen is stiped different colors

Sorry, it sounds like the the LCD display on your ipod has shattered. You should take the iPod in to an Apple store to have them take a look to be sure.

MY ipod touch has black dots all over the front and the touch screen doesnt work but the menu button does work and it turns on but i cant unlock it after i turn it on... I tried turning it off but since...

If you have black dots one of two things is broken
  1. The Video Controller is broken
  2. The LCD is broken
If you cant use the touch then the issue is a broken or disconnected touch panel (The touch and LCD are two separate components)

This is easily fixed for about $100. I replaced mine after a fatal fall shattered my front glass. and components.

If you are not tech savvy, call Apple they can fix it, but if your not covered by warranty then it'll cost you A LOT!

Glass on the front

No it cannot - I know you don't like that answer, but it is the only honest answer. It is more expensive to repair a problem of this kind than to buy a new Mp3 player. You cannot simply glue a new screen onto there (Apple wouldn't sell you replacement parts anyways), since other parts are most likely also damaged.
