Do you mean the Gateway DX4870-UB21P? This desktop CPU has 4 USB 2.0 ports on the front. Two are next to the card reader slots. Two are on the top. There are also 6 USB 2.0 ports on the motherboard (on the back of the system). You can find a description or the ports by reading the review here: https://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2387922,00.asp . This review also includes a gallery of images of the system. Click on the link to see all 8 pictures in the gallery and scroll through them. The specifications here, http://www.findlaptopdriver.com/specs-dx4870-ub21p-gateway/ suggest 4 USB 2.0 ports and 2 USB 3.0 ports on the motherboard. There may have been a motherboard change made by Gateway due to manufacturer availability.
Memory card might be loose or not installed correctly. Try taking it out and putting it back. If you do not know how to do this then take it to a technician. Hope this helped!
The beeps mean that something has come unplugged from the motherboard, likely the video card or memory. Check that all the cards are plugged in fully, and you will likely be fine.
The best that you can do is to make certain that all of the fans turn and are clear of dust, cat hair and other blockages.
Also the case is designed for air to flow thru it with the covers in place.
You may wish to add an additional fan to blow into the case.
