I have a Mitsubishi TV and had the same problem. There is a mirror that moves to control each pixel. When some of them fail to move you get the white dots. Google your problem and a company will come up(sorry forgot the name).,you can buy the new part from them and they have exact utube videos to help you do the repair. Took me about an hour. Part was around $150. Very rewarding feeling when you turn the tv back on with no white dots.Still dot free after two years
Touch screen have an X/Y axis running from top to bottom and side to side. If the crack appears, one or more conncetions will be shorted out and the screen fails. Looks like you need a new unit.
[1].Turn on the TV. If the TV doesn't turn on, if you feel a wetness around the crack in the screen or if the picture isn't coming in properly, do not attempt to fix the TV yourself. Take it to a professional.
[2].Turn the screen off and unplug the TV if the TV appears to be in working order except for the crack.
[3].Apply a thick coat of petroleum jelly to the crack. Rub it in slowly and thoroughly with a clean eyeglasses cloth.
[4].Reapply the petroleum jelly and rub off again, if necessary.
This usually means that the liquid crystal has been broken in that section. Usually caused by something poking or pressing on that section of the screen. The only solution is to have it repaired or replace the camera. I'd get an estimate from an authorized repair shop or Samsung directly, and then weigh the options against buying a new camera, buying a working used one, or paying for the repair.
You cannot repair the broken LCD screen; the white you are seeing is the backlight for it.
LCDs have extremely thin gold deposits along one edge that is contacted by a silicone rubber strip that has fine wires molded into it vertically and one edge is pressed against the LCD panel for contact.
It is a fussy arrangement when new and it sure doesn't get any better when dropped.
I wouldn't delay too long looking for parts or repair; Polaroid filed for bankruptcy last week although I doubt if the parent had anything to do with the manufacture of your camera; as with many companies with limited manufacturing means, the camera was surely built by others.
Your LCD screens are cracked. Almost any significant crack will make the entire screen "go white". If you LIGHTLY press on the screen you'll probably see where the crack is (appears as a small black or multicolor line and may or may not "bleed"). You need to replace the screen (at a repair shop, mail in service, or DYI with a replacement screen) or get a new phone. Sorry.
My camera fell out of my pocket book and busted the door. I glued it. that worked for about 6 months. I need the door for it and it will be as good as new.
