My lovely IRobot vacuum Roomba560 teases at the moment. When it has vacuumed in approx. 15 minutes it stops and when I try to turn the lights, it shows red light vith text clean. I have cleaned everything that can be cleaned. When it is fully charged again it all repeats. Could it be the battery that need replacement? Sincerely, Tom and Annette Haspang

    The nosewheel is falling off. Is it possible to buy a new wheel?

Yes, sounds like you need a new battery, they cost about$70 for an IRobot one or you can get them cheaper - do a Google search

It sounds like the battery is shot. These batteries only work for a couple of years and then they won't accept a charge any more. A common mistake people make is recharging them before they need it. This will make the battery "lazy"

Do you leave the battery on charge long enough? Try 4-hours up to overnight. If so, then the battery is probably at the end of it's useful life. Getting a new battery depends on cost versus life expectancy of the robot and whether it does the job you want it to do.

Generally the unit will beep or play the "uh-oh" tone or do something. I wish I could tell you what's going on with this Dirt Dog, but it's not communicating the problem. The best thing to do would be to give us a call when you have the robot with you. That will enable us to do any necessary troubleshooting as well as set up any orders that might be necessary. Yes, a common issue with the cleaning head module, chm. You will need to diassemble the Roomba and remove all debris from the CHM. Also take a look in its gear box.

possible your battery has a damage allready need for replacement. but try to fully charge your battery then after test it if it a minutes that use the problem happens againyour battery has damage.

My irobot (Roomba)is only working for 10 mins then

It should take about 6 hrs to charge. I had the same problem and reset the charging circuit. 1) Charge it until the green light comes on. 2) Unplug and pull battery out. 3) hold down the power on button 15-30 seconds. 4.) Put the battery back in, plug in the charger (direct - not through the dock) and charge for 72 hrs. Then, run at Max clean until the "I'm dead" tune plays.

Irobot stops after a few minutes and says plaes

soooo, what is not understood here ?
turn it over, open brushes cage, take each brush out and clean it.
In addition, also clean the sides from any dirt/hair that may stuck in its pivots.

Fully charged, runs 2 minutes and stops

You have dead nimh (nickle metal hydride) batteries2_bing.gif.
You will need a replacement. You can test for this by removing the battery and holding the power button for 15 seconds. This will restart the charging cycle as if the battery were new. Try Ebay for better pricing.

My i-robot spins first to the right, moves back a little, then spins again. after about a minute it stops the red light flashes it says oh oh and beeps nine times. how can i fix this?

You are probably facing a bumper sensor issue.
Try to clean the bumper first and if this goes on, either call iRobot service, or
take a look at this page for the step by step 9 beep fix.

IRobot Roomba going in circle and quits

you need to turn roomba over, leave the battery in, push the wheels at the same time 15 times. after that, push the front bumper about 15 times. then turn on roomba and press clean.

Sorry to say, but you have a bad battery. If it's still under warranty, call them and they should replace it. If not, you'll need to buy a new one.
