My lg esteem stoped receiving and sending text msg and phone calls

To confirm that text messaging is enabled on your account, go to the Device settings page for your phone and make sure that "Can send/receive text messages" is "Enabled". If there is no edit icon at the top of the Messages section (i.e. you can't update your text messagingsettings) then the number is not active

I've notice I have not been able to send MMS picture messages ... I've downloaded Handcent SMS and now I can at least send/receive MMS. New Samsung Galaxy s5 unable to send or receive text ...

Open the phone and click the Menu button. Note the center keypad above the numerical keys can click up, down, left and right.

Click the center keypad left until you see the "Messaging" option.
Click "New Message."Click "Text Message."


Enter the telephone number of the person (or people) you wish to send the message to. You can also select people from your contact list by clicking "Add" and then clicking "From Contacts." Select the contacts you wish to text by clicking "Mark" and then click "Done" when everyone has been selected.

Click down until you are in the "Text" box. Type in the message you wish to send. Click "Send."

call your carrier and ask them to help you fix the APN SETTINGS

you can contact your mobile service provider and have them check the settings for the msg center to see if that corrects the issue.

you need to check the msg center number on your phone.

So call you provider and have them give you the msg number

look at you msg center number and see if it is the correct one....so call you mobile service provider for further assistance.

actually your network service provider gives you message center number. call their customer care to get the msg center no. put it in msg center box.. and everything will work fine.
