New microwave that is not an outside exhaust. The fan works but there is not suction from bottom of unit? Also is this fan supposed to come on when there is hot steam coming up from the stove below?

Hello friend, thank you for your post!

From my understanding you have some questions regarding the operation of your Frigidaire microwave. The fan will turn on when the temperature sensor recognizes the temperature is too hot. There should be suction from the bottom. If you are experiencing issues with your new microwave I would recommend contacting your manufacturer for proper warranty coverage. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt

How do I remove the bottom drawer of a frigidaire gallery electric range

That's a great question, friend!

I see you question is labeled under model FGES3065KB. In order to remove the drawer on that specific Frigidaire range you would need to follow these steps:

1. Open the drawer to full position.

2. Locate the latches on both sides of the drawer.

3. Pull up on the left glide latch and push down on the right glide latch.

4. Pull the drawer away from your range.

I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt

Had power go off now er flashing on all burners can not reset

It's possible that you had a surge when the power returned that scrambled the controller's brain. Try disconnecting power and reconnecting to restore normal operation. Disconnect power by unplugging the stove from the wall or switching off the breaker that controls it at your main circuit breaker box. Wait a minute or two, then plug the stove back in or turn the circuit breaker back on. If the stove does not work after this, you may need a new controller board.

Frigidaire Gallery Microware door doesn't latch

I experienced the same problem. The solution was easy, for me at least. Remove the door. pry loose the plastic liner that covers the inside of door. remove the four screws that hold the glass unit in place. You will find rattling around inside a spring about an inch long and a broken plastic piece about an inch and a half tall. On my unit the plastic piece was still hanging on by a thread which gave me a clear understanding of how the door latch is supposed to work. Remove the plastic latch unit which is designed to slide on the two posts about three eights of on inch distance under the pressure of the spring. Problem is loss of spring induced pressure.
The repair: ( I used my bandsaw to do this) fashion a piece of wood with indentations that correspond to the plastic ribs enabling the wood to sit perfectly into the space. Drill a hole at the point where the inch and a half "anchor post" broke off and insert a dowel of same length. I carved a shallow indentation for the spring, pressed the spring on with needle nose pliers, replaced the sliding latch mechanism, attached other end of spring to the latch. I drilled into the exterior plastic door frame and installed a flat head screw to hold the wood repair piece solidly in place. Re-install pieces removed earlier and you have a happy, functioning Frigidaire gallery micro at your service. Took an hour.

The left rear stove element went on High and would not turn off by controls, why? There was an F550 code that came earlier with the oven?

My range was doing the same thing. I finally called the Consumer Protection Agency and reported it. It launched a national recall. With their help, Frigidaire replaced my range. On Easter 2014, the new one did the same thing. Burner turned on by itself, to 8.5 with knob in the off position. We had to unplug it. Frigidaire once again did not care. I contacted the CPSA again - they are investigating. I will NEVER have another Frigidaire Range. Check your model number against the recall information. Don't trust it! It is a fire hazard.

Hello arab125 - I understand that the timer and clock works fine, however from what you have described it sounds like the range could possibly have a wiring failure, faulty sensor, or an issue with the EOC. I would suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately.
