Phone will not come on

Have you tried holding down the power and volume down buttons simultaneously to do a reset? It normally takes 10-12 seconds before it reboots. The LG logo should appear, then release the buttons. The Power X has battery connection issues and will do random shut downs as well. If it's shown other symptoms like charging problems you will need to take it in for repairs.

Your phone is probably bogged down and froze. Restart and try to uninstall as much of your downloaded apps as you can. Restart again.

I have a Compaq Presario SR2010NX desktop computer. Recently, very occasionally, the computer would freeze and the screen would scramble. It almost looks like someone chopped up the picture on the screen. Then we would have to manually shut down the computer and restart. It would always work fine afterwards.

Yesterday the computer did it again. It restarted fine but when my boyfriend tried to install a new mouse the computer froze again and the screen went scrambled. Well this time it did not start back up. I tried to unplug the computer from the wall and restart but that got me to the COMPAQ screen and then the computer froze again and the word compaq was doubled all the way down the screen. We continued to try to start it in PC recovery but it would get the the program and freeze. I actually got it to run once but I couldn't see what it was doing because the screen was scrambled.

Now we have restarted it so many times that it will start up, light turns green, and stays green. The computer sounds like its starting up and it seems louder than normal. The computer doesn't do anything and the screen is black. The lights on the keyboard do not turn on but the light in the mouse does. The CD drive will light up and run as well but nothing happens after that. I can't see the cursor and the keyboard does not work.

I opened the computer up, cleaned the dust off, tried to re-install my old RAM and that did not work either. I disconnected the CD drive but that did not work. Tried to start the computer with nothing plugged in except mouse, keyboard and monitor and that did not work.
I don't know what to do! Help!

Jst take out ur batteries and try to restart the phone

sounds like the chipset in your phone is faulty. if you did'nt get it wet or use alcohol.

I had this same problem, there is a thin line of wires connecting the bottom half and top half of the sliders, after awhile it just plain wears out and will generally crack, without these wire anything on the front of your phone will no longer work. The screen is black but stil lights up a little bit and occasionally the buttons light up but its pretty much toast I'm sorry to say. I upgraded to a HTC Touch Pro 2 and am happier than ever!

Hi, I experienced the same problem this morning, my sansa player (e280, 8Gb) froze in the middle of a song, the screen went blank but the wheel still had its blue light on and i didn't know how to fix it bur then i figured how. If that's the case with your player too, then the solution will be to press and hold the power button till the blue light goes off (abt 8-10sec) and then just restart the player. It should work.

Hmm. I've been browsing the net for iphone problems (courtesy of my own) and i remember reading something about this. Look up the Apple website, especially the discussion forums. You might find something there.

In the meantime, try restarting your phone. For that, press both the top on/off button and the Home button together and keep holding them down. Your screen will go blank but keep holding them and the phone will restart.

If this doens't fix things, look up other answers. You might have to restore your phone, like I had to, You should be able to find the procedure to restore easily on the Apple website.
