Access glow in the dark release on drivers side of boot lid inside trunk via ski pass through door behind center armrest of rear seat. As I understand it if batteries are dead emergency relase does not work. There may be alternate means of providing power to use this switch by attaching a 12v charging wire to cigarette kighter.

Fold down rear seat and climb in the trunk....there is a manual release at the center of the trunk lid. (mandated by the government to kids don't get trapped in the trunk).
SOURCE: I have a 2000 Bentley and I can't remove the rear set to pull the manual trunk release
If I am not mistaken, you have to remove the head rests, remove the bottom bench, fold down the armrest and remove the bolts behind it (Note: At the bottom, the bolts for the seat are held in by a clip... You just take a flathead screwdriver and pry it forward and it will then release. Make sure you dont let the seat-belts retract; it be difficult to get it back.) Typically, it takes about 2 hours to remove the seats. You will also need a metric set of Allen and Socket Wrenches to remove the bolts.
