My vizio tv has a ticking noise

My vizio 37in hdmi tv has a ticking noise that comes through the speakers while on. i live in a duplex the tv is against the dividing wall between the duplex could it be something that is bleeding over from other side . (xmas lights ect)

Unless you are getting your input signal from an antenna (in or outside) it isn't likely being disturbed by radiating sources such as blinking lights, kitchen mixers, etc.
The shielding on any cable or satellite system keeps such airborne interference from invading your receiver. You might just check to see if signal cables are well-attached; not with a wrench but a firm twist or those that just plug in should be pulled and reinserted in case a shield is not contacting well.

Vizio speakers make a buzzing noise-I read the answer concerning the HD cable box that seemed to work. But I do not have an HD cable box, I still have the terrible buzzing noise. Help!

First turn the volume all the up on the box, if that does not fix it you need new speakers.

It ur Vizio tv,The power supply board is the problems.The transformers in the power supply board have gaps in the transformers.The high voltage curents flow that make that buzzing noise.

My lcd tv makes a humming noise

My 37 inch vizio did the same thing. go to your menu screen on the tv and go sound. My tv has an option to turn speakers on/off. Once I turned my speakers off and the back on again everything worked great. hope I helped! if I did please let me know! youtube.com/xniax1

Odd problem for this model.

If:

* you are certain the popping is coming from the speakers and
* the video and audio come back on after going out (without reset) then

the issue will be with the main board and will need to be replaced.

Call Vizio customer service, they extend warranties sometimes.

Ticking noise from TV - Sony 50' rear projection 1080p LCD

The problem is ht leakage . remove the ultar cap of the tube and clean both the tube and cap with wd 40. then reinstall cap using some silicon glue.
this will correct your fault.
