The median is $250,000.

Arrange the data in order. In this case (dropping the thousands):
140, 140, 167, 250, 315, 343, 345 .
Since the list has an odd number of elements, simply pick the middle one. If the list has an even number of elements, average the two middle ones.

Mean = 9 Mode = 7 range = 4 median = 9

What exactly are you looking for? All I can tell you is:
  1. The mean is the usual average
  2. The mode is the number repeated most often.
  3. The median is the "middle" value in the list of numbers.
  4. The range is just the difference between the largest and smallest values.

What is the median math deffinition

middle number

To find the Median, place the numbers you are given in value order and find the middle number. Example: find the Median of {13, 23, 11, 16, 15, 10, 26}. Put them in order: {10, 11, 13, 15, 16, 23, 26} The middle number is 15, so the median is 15. (If there are two middle numbers, you average them.)

Mean, median, mode

Mean= average =(sum of data values)/(number of data values)
Mode is the most frequent data value.
Median: Sort the data in ascending order. The element in the middle is the median.
If the number of data is odd, there will be one MIDDLE element. It is the median.
If the number of data is even, there will be two elements in the middle. Add the values of these middle elements and divide by 2. The result will be the median. It is not part of the data.

Math mean median mode

Mean, median, mode

You don't need the calculator for that. Sort the data in ascending order.

Mode

Find the most frequent data element (the one repeated the most) in the set. That is the mode. If you have several elements that share the same highest frequency all of them are modes.
Median
Count the number of elements in the set.
If the number of elements is ODD the median is the element that happens to hold the middle place in the ordered set.
If the number of data elements is EVEN, then there is not one middle element, but 2. Call them if you wish MIDLeft, and MIDRight
Take the values of these two elements and calculate their average.
Median_value =(MIDLeft+MIDRight)/2
That average is the value of the median.
You can imagine the median as a virtual (not really there) data element inserted between the two middle elements and having as value the average of the two middle elements
Your set would look like the following
{Min_value, ..., MIDLeft_value, Median_value, MIDRight_value, ..., Max_value}

Now, was there something about fractions?

Mean median mode

Consider these numbers: 2,3,5,7,13,15,25

Mean: the arithmetic average of the number group, so 70/7 = 10
Median: that value with as many numbers on one side as on the other, so 7
Mode: the most often occurring value, so there is no mode to this group of numbers, which can occur.

Whats a median

The median of a finite list of numbers can be found by arranging all the observations from lowest value to highest value and picking the middle one (e.g., the median of {3, 5, 9} is 5). If there is an even number of observations, then there is no single middle value; the median is then usually defined to be the mean of the two middle values. It is similar to an average. or a root mean square value (RMS).

Math mean median mode

The question is incomplete.
The mean, also called the average is defined as
mean= (sum of the data values)/(number of data elements)
Mode = the most frequent data value (the one that is most repeated)
To find the median:
  1. Order the data values in ascending order (sort them from the smallestr to the largest), and
  2. Locate the data value that is in the middle.
  3. If the number of data values id ODD (not a multiple of 2) there is only one middle element. That is the median.
  4. If the number of data elements is EVEN (multiple of 2), there is not one middle element but two.
  5. The median is the average of the two middle element values

    1. Median =( left of middle value +right of middle value)/2
    2. Imagine this median value to be inserted between the two middle elements
Example 1
Data values 12.5, 13, 13., 13, 13.5, 14, 19.5, 19.5, 20
Mean =(12.5+13+13+13+13.5 +14+19.5+19.5+20)/9=?
Mode= most frequent value. Here it is 13 (repeated 3 times)
There are 9 values, an odd number. Middle element is the 5th ( 13.5)
Median=13.5

Example 2
Data values 12.5, 13, 13., 13, 13.5, 14, 19.5, 19.5, 20, 25
Mean =(12.5+13+13+13+13.5 +14+19.5+19.5+20 + 25)/10=?
Mode= most frequent value. Here it is 13 (repeated 3 times)
There are 10 values, an even number. Middle element is not among the values. There are two middle elements (the 5th and the 6th) or
The value of the median is the average of the 5th and 6th elements or
Value of Median =(13.5+14)/2=?
