You can check Hobby Lobby or Michael's for movement replacements. I needed an HD-1688 and found it at Michael's. The movement came with its own hands but those did not fit the old shafts and were too long for the clock face. Fortunately, the internal parts can be swapped out with the old unit so I could use the old hands. Hope this helps!
