Hi
I have this unit and see the message many times. What I do is take the head unit and plug into USB on computer for a few hours with screen switched on. It gets quite warm, I guess charging OK. Back in the car, no more message! For a month or two anyway... So it does not charge too good in the car, could be too many recycles, low voltage, don't know, but this works for me.

SOURCE: Pioneer gps avic-n1, avic - N2

I am sorry to inform you that the program you are using does not specify between personal vehicles or commercial vehicles.

This unit was created for use in personal cars and trucks without taking RV's into consideration. Pioneer should have thought about this when they designed the program, because I am sure you are not the only person who has ever put one in an RV.

I checked the service manual and found no reference to anything about commercial use and routes.

I guess you will have to pay very close attention to the signs on the road that display the clearance of low overpasses. There is a good chance that any route you may take will have a sign posted with the clearance and with enough time to be able to make any needed adjustments in your route.

Good luck, be safe, and if there is anything else I can assist you with don't hesitate to ask. I am hear if you need me. I work at an authorized Pioneer repair center, so I have access to just about everything Pioneer makes available.

Just so you know, if your unit ever needs service, this is one of very few that Pioneer does not authorize any of there authorized service centers to repair under warranty. They must be shipped to Pioneer, no exceptions. If it is not under warranty, anyplace can work on them, but it might be difficult getting some of the parts.

Check the connections at your brain, you probably pull it loose when you removed the N1. Goodluck.

Pioneer avic-f700bt wont power on at all.. the battery was changed . How do i reset it ?

it is possible that it was damaged during the battery replacement.
one thing you can still try is to hard-reset it. the reset button is left of the eject button. press it for 30 seconds. if that fails - contact the repair center

My stereo is a pioneer avic-f700bt and it wont play my cds anymore it keeps saying code error 15 and code error 12

Try cleaning the Cd player with a cleaning kit? Does the cd have dirt or scratches? Most of your errors are not so uncommon check these things, and rate accordenly pls.

AVIC-S1 GPS BATTERY

The battery, part number BP-LP1200/11-b0001mx costs $43.00 from Pioneer. The same battery part number is also the same 1200mAh battery in the Typhoon Myguide 5000. It also has a generic number of PDA-225LI. Look up the Typhoon Myguide battery on ebay and you will find an original replacement that costs less than $10.00.
