Ref 1369a airbook.
Double check your backlight cable. It is the small cable in the middle of the polarizer control board. It has to be installed with the white strips facing up. So when you inserting it during installation the cable has to be twisted. It is a pain....
Yes I know, how to fix it. Whe you have replaced the LCD, did you also unglued the backscreen sheets? The LED bulbs providing the back light are seated behind these sheets which are glued to the metal. They tend to damage very easeasily. No way to buy them if this is damaged. You will need to buy a damaged, complete back panal. But first check if the wiring is properly done. Here is the guide.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHNtnvzfSzYGood LuckMohan

Do you mean the behind the keyboard backlight or something else?
As far as I'm aware only the macbook Pro models have KB backlighting so without a motherboard change you are probably out of luck

Does it only show up when the computer is on? There were a few reports of several MacBooks having video card issues that caused this problem. Take it to an Apple store and have a Mac Genius look at it to confirm.

Just take it back to Apple, it's unfortunately a common problem. Most people have had it fixed for free - warranty or not!
