Sidekick 2008 craked screen

Can you help me find a screen replacement for my sidekick 2008 lcd front replacement. i just have this less than 4 months now and i was told by my mobile company that itsout of the warranty and i dont have any insurance. now i am stuck for 20 months with the broken lcd screen.

    i have the same issue. I have Sidekick 2008 with a cracked LCD and i can't find a replacement any where

    If anyone has any info please e-mail or post up

Contact Mega Mobile Boston Repair Center. www.MegaMobileBoston.com, 617 573 0073. They sell replacement screens for most phones: including SideKick 2008, Sidekick LX, and all other sidekick screens and parts - trackballs, bumpers ect... They can also install the screen for you - if you send them your phone they fix it and mail it back. Hope this helps

The problem with your sidekick 2008 screen is the backlight is burned out. this can happen if dropped or if it gets wet.

The only way to fix it is to replace the screen. It is fairly easy to do and new ones run about 65 dollars on ebay.

more than likely the LCD screen or backlight burned out. You can replace the LCD screen yourself for about 65 dollars which is a lot better than 200 for a new phone.

i do not know how to install the screen but my sidekick was messed up and all you have to do is call t-mobile and argue with them for a while and eventually in a few days maybe weeks they will send you a replacment!! GOOD LUCK!

Really need help please
In both cases you lcd screen has died, the backlight will usually go first.

Fixing them is easy, a new lcd screen assy can be purchased from ebay for less than 45 dollars. It only take the removal of 2 screws to replace it. Read throught the procedure below.

Broken screen
You can replace it with a new one from ebay. They run about 35 dollars and are really easy to replace.
