Sidekick id screen replacement

I have a sidekick id and i want to replace the screen because its craked where can i buy it

    I had a SideKick ID and my friend dropped my phone on a bunch of rocks. Then my screen cracked. I ended up getting a new phone but I would contact T-mobile and see if they can help you. I know they have a company that they work with that you might be able to buy a new screen from them.

    i dropped my sidekick id in the bowling alley and a ball smashed it the screen is cracked i cant find an inexpensive screen they're about 90$

Anotheroption is to pick up another ID with a good screen but other problems.They are easy to switch screens. 2 screws T6 torx

What you are describing is the backlight is burned out. Th eonly way to fix this is to replace the scree.

Sidekick 2008 craked screen
Contact Mega Mobile Boston Repair Center. www.MegaMobileBoston.com, 617 573 0073. They sell replacement screens for most phones: including SideKick 2008, Sidekick LX, and all other sidekick screens and parts - trackballs, bumpers ect... They can also install the screen for you - if you send them your phone they fix it and mail it back. Hope this helps

Bad news, the backlight is probably blown on you sidekick ID. You can replace it fairly easily if you can find a replacement.

Broken screen
You can replace it with a new one from ebay. They run about 35 dollars and are really easy to replace.

Sidekick iD screen white
take out the battery blow it 15 times then blow the back of the phone 15 times your hardest then out the battery back into place and then the loading screen would show thats what happen to me i hope it works good luck

Help
If you sidekick ID screen is white, you may be able to fix it. The flex cable connection cable on the lcd screen itself can come loose. Chance are if you tighten it, the screen will work again. I have had success with sidekick II and sidekick 3 with this same problem.

The following instruction for a sidekick 3 but it is the same for a sidekick ID. Just reseat your lcd instead of installing a new one.

Is the screen white or black?

If it is white you may be able to fix it, black maybe not.
The following instruction for a sidekick 3 but it is the same for a sidekick ID. Just reseat your lcd instead of installing a new one.

well finding stores is a bit difficult and im not aware of where you live. BUt if you live in Brooklyn, NY, then downtown brooklyn on futon mall street, theres a stores which sells sidekick screens. Chances of finding an ID screen are unknown to me. By the way this store is close by Futon Mall street and Jay STreet
